Good Friday!
Whether the holiday of "Good Friday" is a part of your faith or not, it's Friday, and what's good about it for you is the actual topic.
What are you looking forward to today, and the rest of the weekend? Is a day off from work or chores is what you're looking forward to, or like me...I'm looking forward to getting some chores checked off my list of "to do's"..

Re: Good Friday!
Have a long weekend from work. Don't have to go back to work till Tuesday! I'm looking forward to Sunday. Our 3 boys, daughter in law, and granddaughter will be here for dinner. Then we will have an Easter egg hunt for our granddaughter. Always enjoy having all my kids around me. The rest of the weekend I'm doing as little as possible. Am planning on spending some time on here and getting to know people better. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Re: Good Friday!
I do not get any holiday's off, unless its falls on my regular days off, or I'm very lucky and get a vacation day. I do not get weekends off, ever, unless I have vacation time, and then I have to get lucky again. So it's, "I owe, I owe, its off to work I go".

After our sex-a-rama today, on Sunday we plan on taking her mother to THE RED LION INN in Stockbridge Ma for Easter dinner. That place was built in the 1700's and has a whole bunch of working fireplaces. Very, very historic, to say the least.
Hey, REAL, I hope you and your whole family has themselves a fantastic weekend. You deserve it......

Re: Good Friday!
Oh yeah...anything historic...I love! Now I just might have to take a walk and wonder through the local antique shops!!
I can't afford to buy anything really, but I know that in a moment of weakness, I do end up bring something home, that whatever it is, will appreciate in value due to it being an antique or collectable, and if I get in a tight spot down the line, I can put it up on ebay and recoup my investment or even make a few bucks on it...can't say that about anything ya bring home from Walmart!!!!

What are you insinuating, that I'm an antique, from WALMART, no less? What did I do to merit this kind of rough treatment?
Oh, I get it. Because I'm calendarily challenged, I'm an easy target, huh? If I could get my hands on you, I'd........I'll show ya who's an antique!!!!!

Re: Good Friday!
Hey, VB...do ya happen to have a "at home testosterone level test" around somewhere close by? You seem a little aggressive today...like your just dying to pick a fight and take a roll in the gravel!

Oh yeh CHAZZY? Think you're man enough to to turn this 'ole antique into a whimpering little girl? Well you're too late. My wife does that!!
Actually, I'd like to get a rise out of somebody, especially you!! So far, I haven't pushed the right button. I know that button's around there somewhere....

Re: Good Friday!
It can be difficult to push my button here, if I find someone is bringing about negative feelings from me, or to me...I'll just shut it down and walk away..
But all the light hearted friendly banter, I got no problem with!!

CHAZZY, I find you are, at times, very conservative in your posts and replies so, I'd like to push you a little, push you to the point that you'll sink to my level, way down here in dumb ass land.......
There is no reason I can't pull you out of your shell and then we'll just see how thick your skin is.....
Oh, by the way, have a nice EASTER Sunday! You've earned it!!!!!!!

Re: Good Friday!
I spent the day shopping with my little guy. He was a gem. We bought his Easter clothes and he rode along in the mall in a "police" car stroller deal he named "Lynol." I took him to lunch at one of his favorite places and then I took my daughter out for a little while alone too. I love one on one time with them. We chatter about little things, it is so much fun to hear them tell me about life from their perspectives...it was a very Good Friday!!!
It is turning cold here though...so much for an outside Easter egg hunt!!!

Oh there are so many reasons why I don't just come out of my shell! I'm not shy or without strong opinions, but if there is a mess around here, it can take me days, even up to a week to clean it up! So I don't make messes myself, or try very hard not too.
Ya'all can be hard to please, some chant "more fun! more fun!" while others claim that things get boring without a serious thought or two, and that's no fun for them...
I'm thickskinned enough, when there's unrest around here and you could read my mail, you'd know that for sure!
I love having fun and I love discussing things that make my head spin...
I can't come here and ask that we "curb the hijacking alittle" if I'm all over the place doing it too...so I have to restrain myself allot, and it's really hard to do sometimes...many times I want to post a few more remarks and steer something down the ole "off topic" highway, but I have to refrain...But there's nothing stopping me from firing off a private message to ya and picking it up from there!
(Inserted emoticon to lable this post as a true thought, but hey lets not all get worked up and serious about it)

Re: Good Friday!
Easter weekend is going to be special for me. My daughter and daughter-in-law came by yesterday and brought me some things I needed. We are planning to go to Church at noon on Sunday and then to my Mom's house for a family dinner afterward. Today is my grandson's 9th birthday party so this should be a fun day too. Hope everyone has a great weekend and spends it with someone you love!
