I can be serious, I like to read and I read a lot. Since I edit/proof ebook, I get to read a lot of different things for it, so the written word was my pick, but visual aids will work too, like Chazzy said, it's the person you choose to spend the time with!

many moons ago..during my "younger years"...i was a ski bum in a CO ski resort...my ski bum roommates and i used to party with some stewardesses from a cpl of airlines who would come visit on occasion...

I think it depends on the maturity of the voyeur . Younger, more impatient and wanting to see the action. Most good movies with sex in them started out as a story or book before hitting the "silver screen."
The older you get the visuals of nakedness and togetherness is erotic and produces imagery of the viewer doing those acts. Also the written word is very powerful for the more mature mind to assimilate the characters of the story.
What do I know, I haven't been laid in a long time.

Okay ladies, how about you and partner starring in your own porn flick?
