Too Much......
I think it's time for me to step back and let the other WN members have their say. I'm hogging the posts. It's just that I only work part time (those 15 hr work weeks are a bitch) and I have the extra time to think up sh*t.
Sorry I'm so opinionated. It's my nature.

You're not hogging the posts, you silly man!
Forums tend have thier own flow, a life of thier own.
We have morning regulars, lunch hour posters, weekday or weekend posters, night shift and dayshift members, insomiac late niters, and of course the Noobs!
We have flirts, smart asses, ranters, thinkers and some are just way horny...we love and need them all!!! We need them to be as active as possible!
All I ask of anyone (and I'm not aiming these comments directly to you or anyone else, it's just a general reminder) ...is to please curb the hijacking and off topic stuff...a little here and there, in moderation is more than acceptable and usually quite enjoyable, but after about 4 or more off topic replies in one thread, it's probably time to show a little restraint and courtesy.
(If ya wanna hijack your own thread, knock yourself out and have fun!)
I luv ya all to pieces and I sure don't want anyone to take offense at anything I just said.

We want the forums to be free, open, spontaneous and enjoyable for all.
We want to see allot of activity here, if ya feel goofy, start yourself a goofy thread, if ya feel flirty, start a sexy thread, if ya just wanna know the secret of the Universe or the meaning of life, ask! (Mooant will probably reply to that!)
There's room for everyone and every kind of topic here!

I think that any one of us can hijack a thread at any time, it all depends on the mood we are in when we get on here, and how quick the feedback is to our comments....

All I'm asking is that to be courteous to the authors of threads not to take it too far off topic or hijack it.
That, allthough is allot of fun for a few, it's rude to them nonetheless, your own thread that you author, take it anywhere you want!
Hijacking someone elses threads too much, leaves noobs with the impression that the forums are run by "cliques" and can scare them off from posting, they don't want to come in and post something thinking that a few regualars are gonna ignore the topic and flirt amoung themselves for half a page or so.
I hate it, just hate it when I have to come in and say something, it makes me cringe and I don't say it at the drop of a hat...I guess it's just Murphy's law that when I find that things are going well and I have the time to campaign or activily hunt noobs for the forums that hijacking start rising. Life is funny that way.
I know you're kidding me VB...but there are some that do think I'm such a bitch just for generally reminding all of us to curb it once in a while and be polite to other posters, and the thread authors.

I. for one, second your appeal for "no hijacking of threads".
Sometimes I try a little too hard to be funny, but I do try to address everyone's post with some personal reply. If I stray too far or come off as a hijacker, it's not intentional. Just call me on it and let me have it with both barrels!!
I want EVERYBODY to enjoy my posts and my replies to posts.
I'll try real hard to welcome all newcomers and prod them into posting what ever the hell's on their minds!!

One person cannot hijack a thread, not possible, I was not directing it at any one person...
I do the "curb the hijacking" thing in the forums because it is a public reminder to all of us. Beleive me, don't feel singled out hon...we've all had the "hey, curb the hijacking" speech thrown at us at one time or another,
We all do our "off topic" thing around here, it's what gives forums a spontaneous life of their own.
Don't be too hard on me, VB...You're only seeing the surface of what I do around here.
I'm merely trying to, in the nicest way, encourage as much posting as possible, lure in some lurkers and noobs, and still kindly discourage too much hijacking...I simply cannot do this by spending several hours sending private messages to all concerned and who post on the forums.
