Living where I do we have alot of allergies so first I have to determine if it is a headache do to sinus pressure or from stress.
If it is from sinus problems I pop something to help the problem, i.e. claritin, mucinex, etc.
If it is from stress I do the yoga or breathing thing. Most migraines are from the blood vessels in your brain being too constricted, the only thing I have found to relieve that is yoga or pattered breathing (biofeedback). I'll bet Jesse James is tied up in knots with stress...let's find a way to release some of that pressure, shall we? Breath baby, breath.

Mostly its with medication or I will see my chiropractor. Sex only gives me a different kind of headache.

Re: Headaches
For migranes, the best thing is learning to recognize and heed the pre-headache sypmtoms, (seeing flashes of lights) and keeping a mental or written journal so you can find triggers that you encounter.
Excederin has been a favorite for migrane sufferers for decades, Excedering finally got wind of this and started marketing their product specifically for migranes.
From previous posts about headaches, I know NYK suffers a great deal from them and I sure feel for her. Having severe headaches and not being able to pinpoint the cause of them is enough to give you even more headaches.
I can manage my allergy headaches, sleeping in a room with a air cleaning machine does me a world of good.
Being a legally blind person, I've always dealt with my share of eyestrain headaches, but since my eye sight has degenerated even more the past few years, the headaches do increase if I don't take measures to rest my eyes at the onset of one.

Re: Headaches
After I got burned bad I started getting bad migrains that no medicene could stop. But I started taking a vitamin call "Lecithin" & it stopped my headaches completely. Not even small headaches.

Re: Headaches
My best friend, MICHELLE, suffered from migraines so her doctor put her on a steroid medication. After a week or so, her migraines disappeared. She was about 115 lbs and due to the steroids, she gained about 5 lbs. She's 5ft 5in, and 51 y/o. She told me she feels great and doesn't take the steroids anymore.
