It's spring, things are budding, blooming, it's sunny and breezy...don't know what's for supper, but I know it'll be grilled outside on the deck, and served with a Margarita or two!

Re: What's Cooking?
Instead of eating chips with queso I like to use celery...cuts down on the carb and you burn more calories eating celery than the celery has itself...plus, it is yummy!!!

Re: What's Cooking?
One of my favorite snacky foods.
I mix Honey Nut Cheerios and regular Cherios in equal parts with dried cranberries, raw almonds, and raw pistashios. It is great for a breakfast on the go or a snack at your desk...I love it.

Re: What's Cooking?
Right now I'm tossing together a pasta salad with artichoke hearts, red onions, pepperoni, garlic, pine nuts, and some grape tomatoes...
Then it is on to the Kaluha brownies and lemon bars...my family loves holidays when this crazy red head is in the kitchen whipping up yummy things...

Quick and easy casserole:
a package of scalloped potatoes per box directions but in a shallow baking pan.
Cut up 1/2 a ring of smoked sausage in small pieces and mix in
defrosted pkg of frozen spinach spread on top
Bake @ 350 for 20 minutes and serve.
Good quick meal

Re: What's Cooking?
Got left over spaghetti noodles? Don't throw them out.
Chop up some onions and bell peppers toss them in a frying pan with some butter. When the onions and peppers get soft toss in the noodles. Just before taking them out of the pan throw in a couple of eggs and scramble them up throw on some grated cheese of your choice and plate it up. You can also do this with fried taters. The kids use to call it "Hobo Food"
You can also add some smoked saugage if you like.
