Director's cut
What's your preferences when watching a DVD? Do you like and choose some of the options for widescreen editions, audio commentaries, the "making of" and behind the scene extras?
Do you like watching the trailers and preview for other movies that they load onto the discs, or do you just skip all the stuff and just wanna see the movie?

Re: Director's cut
Always select the Video and Audio first, then watch movie, after all that, then we can play with the extra stuff.

Re: Director's cut
I love to watch the previews and the extras, previews are a great time to make sure you have everything before the movie starts. You know, something to drink, eat, ect. I watch the extras after a movies is done. I like outtakes and mistakes, also technical stuff is fascinating to me.

Re: Director's cut
I'll watch the movie first then I'll check out the extra stuff including deleted scenes and alternate endings. After viewing the deleted scenes, you usually can understand why they were cut. Alternate endings are very interesting to me as well as the directors explanation for choosing one ending (theatrical) over the other ending.

Watched "The Guardian" last nite, it was the first DVD I've seen with the option of an alternate ending...the alternate ending sucked....

I saw THE PERFECT MURDER dvd with Michael Douglas seven years ago. That was my first dvd that offered an alternate ending in the extras. The director tells why he chose the theatrical ending over the alternate and it took him five takes to film the one that he didn't use. His explanation was a good one.
