separation anxiety
What, if anything gives you separation anxiety?
Do you get homesick if your away from your place too long?
Can you only go for so long without seeing family, spouse, lover, or pets?
Maybe your separation anxiety comes from things like going nuts if there's a power outage, or your computer and/or Internet is down, your car is in the shop, etc...?

Re: separation anxiety
Usually when on vacation, I want to get back home. Only because when on vacation, I'm always running, driving or something somewhere. You just never seem to just take a day to do nothing, like sit in the room and watch movies, or just sit and soak up some sun in the park or what ever. That's why it's nice to get home. With car thing, hey I can always rely on my two Chevy feet if I need to get around, and lord knows I could use the exercise.

Re: separation anxiety
I do seem to get separation anxiety without my Truck, or my cell phone. I love to call and chat with my wife, and with my truck, I know that I can go see her if I want. Sometimes I feel that I could not live without them. As far as vacation? what is that. LOL..... I hate the beds, no bed is like your home bed. I love to get home to sleep in MY bed.....

Re: separation anxiety
I would love to travel and get out more, but I get way too anxious being away from home too long.
I have all these "special needs" and abandoned animals here, and one very helpless sloppy husband.
My source of anxiety comes from the fact if I'm away from home for even a half a day, the whole place seems to fall apart.

Now Moon and Chazzy!! you're both special parts of others world..(or other worlds)..haha..
but ladies...time away is more a mental exercise...you can learn to relax and vacation...the world does keep goin...travel and getting out more will do you and therefore your dependent others a world of good...(i like how i brought that "world" theme back in to a conclusion

Re: separation anxiety
Nah, tropi, ya' don't understand. I'm pretty sure the house would explode, catch fire, flood.... some type of misfortune if I went away for more than half a day

Re: separation anxiety
The only time I seem to have separation anxiety is when I have nothing to do, but I usually always seem to find something to do every day, so it rarely happens.
I understand the clean up the house stuff, other than dishes, my wife left almost everything else for me to do.
