How are you at being prompt, getting somewhere on time, not making people wait?

That would depend on what it is. Some things are not all that important to be somewhere on time. For work, I'm never late. Most of the time I arrive around 30 minutes early. Doctors appointments, it just doesn't matter. Even when I've been 15 minutes early, I never get in until 15 or more minutes after my scheduled appointment, even if I'm the first appointment of the day, they never get to you on time. My chiroprator is different. They, most of the time, are right on time. There have been times that we have arrived up 15-20 early, and will get you in early. Lunch dates and like, I always tell them around a certain time, but never set a absolute time.

damn good!!! promptness is a virtue and what is expected of me by my Clients and colleagues..
..on the other hand, in Miami..cuban time and/or latin time is predominant is time is of little importance to this part of the culture and business community.
so if i am late..no big deal..
i believe being prompt shows your respect for another's time and courtesies...

OK...when there is an appointment I have to be at for something professionally I'm always on time...or if we've set a time to meet someone for dinner...here comes the big ahem...
I am habitually late for work. Its hard to get up every day to work out, get two little people ready, dress like a grown up in heels and the whole wardrobe thing with make-up, hair, etc. every day. My boss told me in the very beginning he's not a clock watcher and believes in results. THANK GOD!!!
For family events my sisters are always telling me I'll be late for my funeral...my response, as long as you are on time for yours and its before me I'm not too worried about it...LOL...they are several years older than me so I like to mess with them...

It varies, if it is something that really needs to get done, then I am on time, or something that I really want to do. Sometimes I get the lazy ass syndrome, and want to drag my feet on doing things, so I suck......

When and if my wife and I are invited somewhere or we are to meet someone somewhere, we are always there first, always! I tell my wife "what's the hurry? We'll be there before them anyway"! She insists that we arrive at exactly the agreed upon time. No matter who it is, we are always there before everyone.

i was only late one time in the 45 years that i worked for other people. it was the first day of a new job, and my buddy and i had been out celebrating (my getting a new job!) the night before. i was due at 7 am , but never even woke up till 930 ! after calling my new boss, who laughed his ass off and wasnt even upset, we decided the following Monday was a better day to start my new job!!!!

ya just had to throw in the wife or spouse as part of the equation...now that's a different story..can't get her to arrive on time if her life depended on it...and they say "patience is a virtue"..omg...i am truly virtuos then..

I had to learn how to get somewhere on time when I married my husband....learned the hard way that the day before, I have to pick out his clothes, make sure they still fit him, and aren't wrinkled or linty, dust off or clean his shoes, and have all incidentals packed up in my purse (or plastic shopping bag) It's exhausting....I would have thought a man his age would already know how to dress himself.

LOL...Chazzy, I've been picking out my man's clothes since he was 16...I stopped doing all the prep work for him when the little ones were born...now if he's wrinkled, he's wrinkled. I am always amazed that he does a pretty darn good job of dressing up if he has too...I just wish he did it more often.
