I've come to realize in my 50 somethin' years that nothing and I mean nuttin' comes without a cost! I get married to a most gorgeous human being, 30 years ago and she is high maintenance. I wouldn't have it any other way. I gotta walk the line every day.

I got free mulch for my gardening when the city came by the other day and chipped up all the cedar across the road that fell on the power lines during the ice storm a while back.
I got a free kitten a month ago, oh yeah, I got someone to thank for that!!
I got free bags of cat and dog food from a freebie forum site, need all that I can get when people keep giving me all these free kittens.
Got two free Black and Decker programable coffee makers from saving up my Maxwell House coffee points.
Got some free Coke stuff from the Coke Rewards program.
Right now, doing the free two week trial for Netflix.

Re: Free! Free! Free!
I don't collect Coke stuff, but it just seems that everything has a redeem points and enter codes programs going on...and it's kinda fun to do.
Since I buy Coke anyway, we save the codes, enter and redeem them...I think we have a couple of the Coke toy trucks and a magazine subscription or two from mycokerewards.

That's cool, they have some great stuff if you can get enought points and I think I saw the trucks on e-bay and they wanted $40.00 each for them so you might have made a good choice!I have 3 in my collection, and I gave 3 away to friends and family,I hope you find some nice stuff, good luck!

Re: Free! Free! Free!
I also got the anniversary edition coke bottle, don't think I even opened the package to look at it yet!
Today, I'm doing free phone minutes.
Most of my family and in-laws live out of town or out of state and so most of my phone calls are long distance.
I'm using phonehog (you can google that and find the site.)
you just click on ads, enter sweepstakes, use free trial offers,etc... (I got 170 minutes for the Netflix free trial) and earn minutes. If anyone is interested in doing this, you'll probably want to get an extra email address for the account, cuz there will be spam galore. It works out well for me, I haven't paid for a long distance call in years.

when i was eight years old , my dad told me to save my birthday money because he would GIVE me all the " pine floats " i could drink ! when he placed a glass of water in front of me, and then dropped a toothpick in it, i learned the value of " getting something for nothing ".
