Dancing Around the House
On a day when you are at home, what music gets you in the mood to move? Today I put on Justin Timberlake and Daughtry CD's and worked my bootie to the grooving sounds while I pushed the vacumm cleaner (moved furniture and even picked up those darn dust bunnies). I love to clean house to the stuff that has alot of bass...what about you? What motivates/moves you? I work out to Nelly Furtado and mellow out to calmer stuff. After this day, I'm thinking about putting some tunes on while I burn some candles in a lavendar vanilla bath soak...tell me YOUR music moods...

they are as varied as my moods. Celtic for writing, heavy metal for sex, with a lot of bass of course, and country or pop for cleaning or just groovin...

Re: Dancing Around the House
Mostly country for all around general stuff. If I need to chill out, its classical. But if I want a little more up beat, I'll go to the 70's.

Heck, just love to play the tunes loud!! Classic Rock.
Agree with Pepper here with hard rock for sex.
Had a g/f that really loved doing it to Led Zeppelen. Now I love that as well.... Black Dog anyone?

Re: Dancing Around the House
Like Pepper different moods spawn different music for me also. I groove from bluegrass, country, classic rock, rock & roll, the blues and even jazz. I ride the transit bus to and from work and I have an mp3 player going and I listen to all of the above music formats. While I am waiting for the bus my feet just have to move to the beat and also when on the bus and while reading the newspaper my feet will move to the beat of the songs that I am hearing. I also play music while vacuuming and I drive my wife crazy with my booty shaking to the beats. When I am at a wedding I dance practically every dance. I am on the dance floor most of the time and not always with my wife of course. She hates to dance so I take other women and girls to the dance floor. Some of my female cousins practically stand in line waiting for me to take them next.

Re: Dancing Around the House
When I resided alone for many years, I'd dance naked throughout my place, not a care or worry in the world, listening to all sorts of music!!

There is nothing better than classic rock for house cleaning. The Boss, Eagles etc.
