Favorite Fairy Tale/Children's Story
I know...I know...this is an adult website but I think our childhood gives great perspective into who we are today...
What is your favorite fairy tale or children's story?
I loved Cinderella and Green Eggs & Ham...I think that says I believe in Prince Charming but he better have a good sense of humor and the ability to rhyme...or is that rhythm?

I love Sleeping Beauty and The princess and the pea. It's good to let the child in us out once in a while.

Lady and the Tramp was one of my favorites. and Cinderella, Snow White, Bambi. I guess all the Disney ones.

Sleeping Beauty was always my favorite. I collect anything with Auroroa in blue, which is VERY hard to come by, lol, just about everything has her in pink....I am SO not a pink person...

My favorite illustrated children's story book was fantasy story involving some kid and some monsters and peanut butter. I read it in the 80's and for the life of me can't remember the name and don't how to look it (I'm dieing to know what it was now).
As an adult I find Humpty Dumpty amusing. The story of a stoical egg man

There is this one story, this one book that I read only once, but forever has stood out in my memories...
My Side of the Moutain By: Jean Craighead George
Myself, being born into a very loud home of turmoil, this story of a runaway boy living off the land and with nature, in a tree he hollowed out gave me serentity.
Any chance this book was a favorite with anyone else?

i liked cinderella, sleeping beauty, snow white, peter pan, wizard of oz and all the charlie brown episodes. oh, can't forget disney's fantasia.
