i'm one of those never buy lotto tickets.. for some reason this morning i bought one of those scratch tickets. and i won baby!! lol hey i can be excited about $50 if i wanna

sure RAIN ON MY PARADE! maybe i'll get my initial five bucks back and buy more with the rest and cross my fingers for NY airfare? nah.. think someone deserving gets a half assed dinner from it tomorrow.

Last week I had 4 out of 6 numbers for the MegaMillions. Now that may not seem like much but I've never won anything in my entire life so it was kind of a thrill. It paid $150.00 which at that second was really a welcome gift. Two more numbers and I would have had a bit more - like about 260 million

JJ - I did the same thing Tues. and I never buy them either - spent $5 and ended up with 3 numbers plus the mega ball = $150 I was excited - spliting it with hubby and I treated us to Olive Garden tonight.
BCB - you are on the right path - go have fun with it! (and her!!)

I used to be very lucky and won tons of stuff, from golf clubs, tickets to see Jay Leno and $500 bucks...I'm not a Vegas kind of lucky because I can't get into the gambling thing...

I've kinda been semi-lucky a few times with scratch tickets. I"ve had a $1000, (2) $500, (3) $400 and a whole bunch of smaller denomination winners; $1.00 scratch tickets all!! Those were all purchased around 15 years or so ago, before higher denomination tickets were the norm. About 17 years ago, I had 5 of 6 MASS MEGABUCKS numbers and won $400!! Other than a $785 slot machine hit in ATLANTIC CITY and being cursed out by a not so lucky player 2 machines down, that's about it for my good fortune when it comes to gambling. Not exactly a "whale" category!!
I've enjoyed my brief ascension into the world of "lucky sevens" territory. Taking into account my buy in, I'm miles ahead.
I hope everyone who "hits", enjoys themselves. The feeling doesn't have much longevity!! Love is the only feeling that has that..........
