I just had time to watch the news!
I am so excited to see that they have changed the daylight savings time to an earlier time of the year!.....I was shocked to hear we turn the clocks ahead this Sunday!......I so love it when its light out later.....They even said that we wont change the clocks back until November....They pushed that up a week or two as well......
So everyone remember to turn those clocks ahead this Sunday!...(march 11th)......
The funny thing is, the reason it made the news, besides the fact that they need to let the world know this, was because they are worried our electronics will all get screwed up......So make sure your cell phones, computers, and anything else that sets itself is not an hour behind!....
I knew I saw the light at the end of the tunnel!....

I am SO looking forward to it. It always seems to give me more energy to have it staying light longer.

Re: I just had time to watch the news!
I just wish they would leave the time the same all year round. Saskatchewan has not changed their clocks for decades and they survive quite well and many countries around the world also do not change their clocks. It's not so bad changing the clocks ahead an hour but it is a royal pain having to change the clocks back an hour in the fall especially with digital clocks.

I agree. It would nice to just leave times alone. But you the government, gotta screw around with everything. Just wondering, does it really matter to those in the land of the midnight sun. I mean when it light out 24 hours a day, who cares what time it is, right????????????

Heck Moon, I'll just go out Sat. night and start the party early. Either way I'll be tired the next day. At least I'll have an excuse!

Re: I just had time to watch the news!
I love this time change, I can sufficiently wear my kiddles out before putting them in bed at night. We head outside and play until the sun stops shining...soak them until all the dirt is at the bottom of the bathtub...the fall/winter months are always, "he hit me," "she looked at me..." UGH!!!
Even though my skin and freckles are in need of lots of sunscreen I say...Here comes the sun!!!
