Re: I have a cold
Take a little dry red wine and warm it up in the microwave. An italian friend of mine recommended that when I had a cold a fe months ago. Knocked it right outta me, and I hope it will do the same for you!

Re: I have a cold
The maxim "feed a cold, starve a fever" may be right after all, researchers have discovered.
Until now, most doctors and nutritionists have rejected the idea as a myth. But Dutch scientists have found that eating a meal boosts the type of immune response that destroys the viruses responsible for colds, while fasting stimulates the response that tackles the bacterial infections responsible for most fevers
Hope you feel better!

Re: I have a cold
Go to a health food store and ask for ..SAMBUCOL....cost $13-$15. Its like a cough syrup, and it will keep cold and flu virus from spreading and mutating. Of course best to take it at the onset. But it works great for colds and flu viruses.

you're definitely not thinking clearly Samms my dear.

Re: I have a cold
Thank you everyone.. for all your kind thoughts. Still sniffling, but hey it's only a cold. Been rubbing my chest down with Vick's vapor rub at night, taking extra vitamin C, and bought Sambucol, it's all working well.
