Driver's seat
What do you prefer and/or currently drive, a stick or automatic, gauges on the dash or "idiot lights"?
Are there any features you just would die without in your auto, like cruise control, 4 wheel drive, etc...?

Re: Driver's seat
I drive automatic only because I don't need any more distractions in my mind while in the car......The kids are enough!....However I can drive both, and I can only thank my parents for that one!....They wouldn't let me get my license unless I could drive stick, not to mention they made me take the test on a stick......However, I don't need all the bells and whistles in a car either...I used to always have a new vehicle, but since the separation I drive a 93 Buick......(I do have to call it MY Cadillac!).....I have learned that things like that are meaningless when you have so many other things to be grateful for!....Don't get me wrong. I always loved the fact that the seat warmers would make my ass hot when it was freezing, but I guess one day I will have the opportunity again to burn my ass!

Re: Driver's seat
On the car, an automatic, power steering, air, power windows, power heated mirrors and power droivers seart are mandatory as are tushy warmers.
On the truck, power heated mirrors, power steering, air and cruise are mandatory and tushy warmers will be nice too.

Re: Driver's seat
I got my license when i was about 25 and only learned on a automatic. I made my kids learn how to drive a stick. I have never learned to drive a stick, our truck was the only vehicle we had and I did not want to take the chance on braking it so refused to learn on it.

Re: Driver's seat
I love my little SUV, leather seats (with tushy warmers), an amazing sound system (six disc CD player), and ya gotta love the sun roof. I spend alot of time in my vehicle so comfort is important to me...the only thing missing is the waiter to bring me a drink...tea of course because I'll be driving.

Re: Driver's seat
my parents never had me drive stick. So its automatic for me. I wouldnt mind driving stick, just havent had enough practice to do so in the city, etc.
Just for that, I'm going to have my kid(s) drive stick first before automatic.

I only turn up the heat on a cold day and I don't usually wear short skirts in the winter time...when I do wear short skirts during the summer my car is tucked away in a very cool underground parking garage...teflon is usually used as a slippery surface for other activities by this girl...

I can drive both. I actually like to drive a stick....in lots of ways...short skirts and alll!
are you supposed to wear panties under short skirts? Maybe that's why I'm always getting followed by guys in trucks....and blowing their horn and howling looking down at me in my mustang...

Re: Driver's seat
i have always had an automatic...i have considered buying a manual, but i don't want to spend a lot of money on something that i don't know how to use and don't want to spend money to replace the clutch...and the only accesories i need are power steering and of course, a kickin' stereo...

Re: Driver's seat
Husband's truck is a stick and my old car is automatic, I can drive both.
Living in a rural area where rough gravel roads are still used allot, the major accessory in my car is a good full size spare tire in the trunk.

Prefer my F150 automatic. That way my hands don't have to worry about playing with anything but my lover. AND a bench seat! - for obvious reasons.
