A New Birth Control Pill for Men?
Is a new male birth control pill the answer for guys who don't want to be parents?
British scientists have developed a revolutionary pill that men could take as a one-off contraceptive just before a date.
The tablet would prevent a man from being able to impregnate a woman, but within a few hours his fertility would return to normal......,a member of the Family Planning Association (female of course.!lol), said: "It gets really tiring for women to always be the one in charge of fertility.
"For women, it would be another form of liberation. It's great."
Yes, it's all for the women, but sexism aside, any guys out there who would feel comfortable taking this pill?

Hmmmmm. personally i dont think that this would work. .
Imagine the scenario ladies...
Your out on a date, with a hot guy with whom you are considering sex. he says, "I'm on the pill." you respond,
a. ok, great, let's have sex .
b. yeah, right, put the condom on buddy!!
(Guys will say anything and that doesn't change,,!).

Re: A New Birth Control Pill for Men?
Hum, I know some women who say the same thing. I'm on the pill, lets have sex . Yea right. I think that being sexually active means that you have to take the responsibility for birth control yourself.
But what would you ladies say if the guy told you he had gone under the knife? Would you believe him? I suppose you could check for the scars, and since you where down there.
Don't rely on only on the other person. But the big one is STD's, as being on a pill will not keep you safe from them. Only condoms will keep you safer, than nothing, from contracting STD's.

I totally agree, a condom is the only safe way to go, other then saying, you've got no chance pal!!!
The male pill is a good idea for couples in a relationship, if it works. Then again, the chances of them remembering to take it is pretty slim, i mean most of them have trouble remembering to put the toilet seat down!!!

It may be, but swallowing is a foolproof form of birth control.

I'll have to remove that from my shoe then.
Why bother, condoms are required now anyway.

Agree w/ JCSOS -just swallow.
But hey, condoms for safe-sex can sure keep everyone's mind at ease.
You know guys, like showering with a rain coat.
Ohh, I just had mine snipped as well. Now I can play without any lil ones that may follow!!!
