Normal to freak or freak to normal?
You've probably been around people that you would hear saying, "Oh, those people who swings, etc... (whatever else it is that people like us do on such a 'naughty' site, etc...) are the most disgusting type. How could anyone do such a thing?" And the list goes on.
Whats your theory on things like this? Do you think people who are openly about sex are a lot more open-minded to life in general or not? How about the people that aren't into this like you may be? Do you think that if they were to find out some of your favorite sexual things to do, they would look at you like you're some sort of freak? Or think that you're mentally disturbed that there are better ways to spend your time?
Whats your opinion on people that might not understand what 'we understand'?

Good question; I think people will always judge you in anything you do, and it's usually those people who have the most to hide. If you are happy with what you like doing and the people you mix with are the same, then you shouldn't care what others think. Life is to short and everyone should do what they want to enjoy it, as long as no-one gets hurt in the process.
Everyone i have met on here are the nicest and thoughtful people i have met.

well said. i agree. everyone is different and there are different degrees of freakiness & normal. who's to say what is normal and freaky, really? that is only for god to judge. if it feels good or makes you laugh it can't be that bad...

I was asking more of just a general type of question. I could really give a rats red ass if a few people I know knows about it or not. Just to my theory, those that arent really open to sex in general, arent open about anything much in life.
Didnt really know how else to go about asking what people thought on this thing, sort of.

My friends would FREAK if they knew I was on this site...I definately think those of us that think more freely about sex have a more open mind about life in general. My work world is very "uppity" but I would guess that most of my coworkers are uptight in the bedroom or complete freaks behind closed doors. I have friends from all spectrums of life...some are prudish but I love them for who they are and then there are some of my friends that are freaky and our motto is "whatever happens in "Vegas" stays in "Vegas"...

I would never tell my co-workers i talk on here, even though some are my friends, only my best friend knows i'm on here and she is as bad as me so she would never judge. I have to becareful with my job, as this would seriously be frowned upon!!! Anyone who thinks you have to be a freak to be on here, is just single minded and not comfortable with their own sexuality , and are missing out on so much fun and laughter

I could never tell my folks about this place, since they are very religous. Most people who hate the " swingers movement" are people who are so closed minded that they run people who are into the scene. Maybe it's because they only wished they could do what people more open minded are doing, if they weren't so worried about what people think. I don't try to control others lives, why should I care what they think of me??

This is the one place where people can be open and not worry about what others think....
Chances are half of us (at least) feel the same way.
In the short time I've been with WN, I've found alot of people who enjoy the same things that I enjoy..so I don't feel as freaky, more normal.

I think couples that "swing" or have three-somes, group sex , orgies , etc...are couples with relationships that I kinda envy because it does take a good, honestly open stable relationship to be able to handle the sex party with other people stuff....I also envy those very happy couples that have relationships that are solidly monogomous and fullfilling too.
I do not like to hear anyone say "Ewww, that's disgusting, I could never do that!"...cuz if anyone could have interviewed the Donner party before they set out on thier infamous journey and asked them..."Would you ever resort to cannibalism for any reason?" ....that's exactly what each and every one of them would have said without hesitation.

There are two types of attitude, I think, on this topic...
1. "Thats cool"...Whether they, themselves, do it, or not...
2. "Thats disgusting"...because deep down, even though they go along with the status quo...they REALLY want to do it!
