And speaking of spelling... why aren't words spelled like they sound. Example- there should be no (K)in knight or knife, or know. Or a (G) in gnat... or (C) in scissors

My biggest issue is with our Government. They are always trying to be the good guys, and help the other countries, when we have our own that need help. Just imagine where all these other countries would be without us, yet they still want to bite the hand that feeds them.

i guess my biggest gripe cocncerns my 34 yr. old daughter that DOESNT have children of her own, telling me hoe f-----g stupid I am for believing in the corporal punishment of out-of-control children ! punishment (according to her) is NEVER necessary. i am so anxious for her to try that pshycological shit on her own child! ok, im done.......

what is going on with all this censorship crap?
there are a few radio stations around here that i will no longer listen to, 'cuz all of a sudden they started censoring thier music palylists, not that they won't play the songs, they just edit out certian parts of the song...the same songs that they have played un-edited for the past 20 years or so...take for instance the song "CAT SCRATCH FEVER" by Ted Nugent...  there is a part where he sings, "i make the pussy purr with the stroke of my hand..." well some uptight prick must have gotten offended by that because now it plays like this,"i make the @##@$ purr...."
and then there is "LIFE IN THE FAST LANE" by the Eagles...
they edited the words "GOD DAMN" out of the song...
i mean, come on....it's notlike they are dropping the f'bomb every other word, ya know...like i said before, they have been playing these songs un-edited for 20 years, so why give in to all this political bull shit and change them after all these years....
just my opinion....

i'm bugged by brand new tv shows that are already advertising their season finale. what? never any good programming on except PBS, discovery, history, etc... we need another great tv show to look forward to like friends, cheers, seinfeld. that's my bitch.

Ok, I saw something on the news last night that really pissed me off! The keep showing the story and I can't stand to hear it anymore.
This couple living next to another couple that have pit bulls shot one of them.
Here's the scenario. They were gone and one of the dogs got out of the fence. The neighbor guy said that his wife had to go to work. When she was walking to her car, HE said the dog charged her so he shot him with a shotgun.
They showed the other pit bull running around wagging his tail at the camera man and the reporter. Here's my beef.....
This was premeditated animal cruelty. If his wife was walking to her car and the dog charged at her, would he have had time to run and get his gun and shoot the dog before it got to her? Not just no but HELL no! They saw the dog outside, he went and got his gun and let his wife walk outside as a decoy!
For one thing, who's to say the dog was even going to attack?! I know it's a possibility but something is fishy about the whole thing. The owners said that the dog wouldn't harm a fly. I believe them.
Premeditated animal cruelty.... that's my opinion

i dont know moon... i lived in a small town with an out of control dog population for a while. many a time i was walking out the door and a stray was harrassing the chickens or something like that and i popped a bb in their direction. when its a problem the gun tends to stand by the door.
not saying thats the case here but you know.. sometimes things happen like that. and maybe its just the guys wife.. she did something to piss the dog off once. our dog was the nicest dog ever but when it was young an uncle kicked it for what ever reason and teased it a lot one day. for the rest of his life that dog would seriously try kill said uncle if he even stepped foot in the yard... total strangers got a wag and a lick.

First off, I have to say this. We have taught our kids about guns. They know what they can do and that they never play with them.... but I sure as hell wouldn't leave them laying around within reach!
Saying that, I don't know this for sure but by the looks of the neighborhood, they more than likely have kids. IF they keep their shotgun by the front door, they're dumb asses!

My 380 is on top of my entertainment center about 10 feet away from the door. Might not be right there BY the front door but I challenge anyone to try and break in

breaking in? thats the excuse i use for my clutter. if they can get in and find something worth taking they're welcome to it. besides i dont hunt much and have target rifles mostly.. and i'd prefer the longer range shot when they're leaving.

Oooooooooo that reminds me. They're tryin' to make it a law here in Texas now that you can shoot an intruder before they come at you... Homeowners were protected with a law before because it was considered self defense.. but only if the intruder was intending to cause bodily harm. If this law gets passed, you can shoot as soon as you see the whites of their eyes
Like I give a rats ass about some law, though... they wouldn't get halfway through the door!

Moon, they have a bill here in Minn simular to yours. But it also would anywhere you happen to be. Outside, parking lots, etc...The only catch is that they must be committing a felony. Some argue, how would ya know if its felony or not.
