LA oounty sheriff wouldn't have been investigating had that been the case. Not to mention. Fake deaths are usually done when the person needs some press. Walker was currently working on another Fast and Furious film.

Nelson Mandela dies at age 95. He is one of those rare people with power that didn't use it to divide or hurt people. He was a smart, brave man that will be missed on this planet. He has earned a place in heaven if there is one.I only wish his passing could have been fast and painless.

Re: Rest In Peace
Eric Lawson aka The Marlboro Man Passed away. Guess what he died from?
LOS ANGELES - Eric Lawson, who portrayed the rugged Marlboro man in cigarette ads during the late 1970s, has died. He was 72.
Lawson died Jan. 10 at his home in San Luis Obispo of respiratory failure due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, his wife, Susan Lawson said Sunday.
Lawson was an actor with bit parts on such TV shows as "Baretta" and "The Streets of San Francisco" when he was hired to appear in print Marlboro ads from 1978 to 1981. His other credits include "Charlie's Angels," ''Dynasty" and "Baywatch." His wife said injuries sustained on the set of a Western film ended his career in 1997.
A smoker since age 14, Lawson later appeared in an anti-smoking commercial that parodied the Marlboro man and an "Entertainment Tonight" segment to discuss the negative effects of smoking. Susan said her husband was proud of the interview, even though he was smoking at the time and continued the habit until he was diagnosed with COPD.
"He knew the cigarettes had a hold on him," she said. "He knew, yet he still couldn't stop."
A few actors and models who pitched Marlboro brand cigarettes have died of smoking-related diseases. They include David Millar, who died of emphysema in 1987, and David McLean, who died of lung cancer in 1995.

Another old timer in comedy and TV died. Sid Ceasar died at age 91.
It feels like we are loosing so many of the true originals. Its sad to think that all the real pioneers that we grew up with and our parents and even some of our grandparents grew up with are all going to be gone soon.

I had not heard that... I watch the Waltons at least 3 times a week when I prepare my lunch...I feel as if we have all lost a family member. I heard someplace that he was also an ordained Minister, but chose instead to go into acting.

Maria Von Trapp, 99, Dies in Vermont
Maria von Trapp, the last surviving member and second-eldest daughter of the musical family whose escape from Nazi-occupied Austria was the basis for "The Sound of Music," has died. She was 99.
Von Trapp died at her home in Vermont on Tuesday, according to her brother Johannes von Trapp.
"She was a lovely woman who was one of the few truly good people," he said. "There wasn't a mean or miserable bone in her body. I think everyone who knew her would agree with that."
Maria von Trapp was the last surviving member of the seven original Trapp Family Singers made famous in "The Sound of Music." She was portrayed as Louisa in the 1959 Broadway musical and a 1965 film, which won the Oscar for best picture.
She was the third child and second-oldest daughter of Austrian Naval Capt. Georg von Trapp and his first wife, Agathe Whitehead von Trapp. Their seven children were the basis for the singing family in the musical and film.

David Brenner, the gangly, toothy-grinned "Tonight Show" favorite whose brand of observational comedy became a staple for other standup comedians, including Jerry Seinfeld and Paul Reiser, died Saturday. He was 78.
Brenner, who had been fighting cancer, died peacefully at his home in New York City with his family at his side, according to Jeff Abraham, his friend and publicist.
"David Brenner was a huge star when I met him and he took me under his wing. To me, historically, he was the godfather of hip, observational comedy," comedian Richard Lewis said in a statement. "He mentored me from day one. ... His passing leaves a hole in my life that can never be replaced."
Brenner's standup routines became a favorite of "Tonight Show" host Johnny Carson starting in the 1970s.
I remember him in the 70's and thinking he was really funny.

David Brenner was related to a friend of my grandmother.Years ago when I was in my early twenties my Grandmother and her friend tried to talk me into letting them fix me up with him.My grandmother didn't care that he was much older than I was.All she said was "He's a nice Jewish boy. His people are nice. He has a good sence of humor. He makes a good living. I don't understand why you wont at least go out with him". lol I had to love her even when she said stuff like that. She didn't like the guy I was dating at the time. It was my future exhusband.

Jackie Lynn Taylor is seen in the middle with the Rascals in 1934 (Everett Collection, full caption below)
Jackie Lynn Taylor, who played one of The Little Rascals in five Our Gang comedy shorts released in 1934, died Monday in the Sacramento suburb of Citrus Heights, Calif. She was 88.
Jack Fries, a former CBS journalist and TV anchor/producer, said his wife had Alzheimer?fs disease, The Sacramento Bee reported.
Taylor debuted as Jane, the ?ggirlfriend?h of gang leader Wally (Wally Albright), in Hi-Neighbor, an episode in which the youngsters decide to build their own fire engine. When she grew too tall, she was replaced by Darla Hood.
?gWe didn?ft have scripts,?h she told The Bee in 2000. ?gWe played together. We were kids who worked together, who played together and who went to school together. We weren?ft great actors, but we got along.?h
She wrote a 1970 book about the Rascals, The Turned-on Hollywood 7, and co-hosted along with Fries The Little Rascals Family Theatre , which aired on TV in the 1970s and was a big hit.
A native of Compton, Calif., Taylor also appeared in Our Gang producer Hal Roach's Laurel & Hardy films The Devil's Brother (1933) and Babes in Toyland (1934).
