Rest In Peace
James Brown and Gerald Ford...
Two great souls that have passed on.
Ford...doesn't matter what "party" you belong to...can't deny that he was a good man.
James Brown, what a rowdy little stinker!! His high energetic personality helped form a whole new genre of music.

Gerald ford was an early leader in the deception of the american work force and against organized labor, his heavy hand in ruining the AFLCIO is the reason two thirds of the american workers live in poverty and make less than 12 dollars an hour,,,cry for him if you want to, but he is now where he belongs, while his future colleegs are still around, working on taking away your SS.

If it weren't for union wages and benifits, CF and many other companies would still be in business too.

Quite a loss...he turned on allot of non-opera people to appreciate opera.
I remember hearing years ago that he finally admitted he could NOT read music, but just kinda hid that fact and faked it the best he could.

70's soft rock superstar, Dan Fogelberg...
hits included "leader of the band" and "longer"....
Longer
Longer than there've been fishes in the ocean
Higher than any bird ever flew
Longer than there've been stars up in the heavens
I've been in love with you
Stronger than any mountain cathedral
Truer than any tree ever grew
Deeper than any forest primeval
I am in love with you
I'll bring fire in the winters
You'll send showers in the springs
We'll fly through the falls and summers
With love on our wings
Through the years as the fire starts to mellow
Burning lines in the book of our lives
Though the binding cracks and the pages start to yellow
I'll be in love with you
I'll be in love with you
Repeat First Verse
I am in love with you

Re: Rest In Peace
Jeff Healey lost his life long battle with cancer Sunday evening. for those of you who have never heard of Jeff, he was a brilliant guitar player (mainly blues), but the real story behind his music was the fact that he was blind, and taught himself to play guitar on his lap. his big hit song was called "Angel Eyes" (late 80's). you can check out his music and acting in the movie "Roadhouse" starring Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot. it's such a tragedy, he was only 41 years old.... the music world will miss him.

A friend I used to work with was a Jeff Healey fan...so much so that she was a bit of a groupie for a while. She had him sign her sheets after...ummmmm...they got together to discuss his music. I thought that was original and hysterical.

Discovered by Benoit Mandelbrot, a mathematical formula that creates infinite geometry.
Hard to explain, you can get Mandelbrot generators to download off the net.
If you do a quick google of it, you can find a better definition.
The Arthur C Clark documentary was called "The Colors of Infinity"...it'll haunt you forever.
