How many Spouses here in a Male /Female Marriage hang around with,,,,,,,,
friends of the opposite sex on a regular basis?
Like I have a female friend that is married w/2 children and her and I started grocery shopping together at Costco every Thursday about 2yrs ago we spend almost the whole day together we also go to Walmart, Kohls, and a couple times to a Movie matinee, I know her husband have talked to him several times and they both have met my wife, My sisters and alot of other people think it is way out of line for us to do that, although we have never had sex, we have fun together,she is 13yrs younger has a Masters degree in Nutrition and health, a Bachelors in physical therapy and a Assoc.in business Management.And I don't have Jack,,,I'm lucky I made thru HS. Anyone else have a similar situation?

been there, done that. i know it's cliche, but it's true.
'bout 7 or 8 years ago, that happened to me...funny thing is, she was very faith full to him, but he's the one who cheated on her. we were such good friends that every body said that after they got divorced, i'd be her "rebound" guy, but we were so close that we decided not to pursue a sexual relationship for fear of losing a best friend...
sadly, moved out of state and we have lost touch with each other...
as far as i am concerned, if her husband can handle her having a male friend, then it's great, he's got nothing to worry about.

I know some people don't see it that way, but I have female friends, that are just that, friends. Strictly platonic. I hang out with the hubby too, have a few drinks, shoot pool, go hunting, or ski, fish. I do that with either one or both. Besides, the wife does a damn fine job of detailing the plane.

we went shopping, saw a few movies, went to see her kid's school programs, went out to eat, sometimes we would cook dinner for her husband, when he was "working late" (later we found out he was cheating!) we would rent a movie and watch it at her house, or we would just hang out and play video games and stuff like that!!

That sound pretty close to what we have done, plus I have fixed things at her house, installed a undercabinet Microwave, went to health seminars with her held at fancey conference at hotels in Chicago. Taken her kids to the dentist, to school, and music lessions when she had to work late and her Hubby to work second shift.

it's too bad we didn't meet up before she met her asshole ex-husband 'cos i would have definately had a different view on pursuing a sexual relationship with her. maybe i should look her up and see what she is up to these days...what do you think? if she is not involved with anyone should i ask for a hookup? or would that ruin a great friendship ?

Yeah,,thats a hard one to call, it has nothing to do with her ex or any other man, its all on wether or not she wants to make her self available to you or not, you can wish and hope all you want and spend a small fotune on her if she does not see something that she wants out of a relationship with you, your out of luck, when it comes to women you can persue all you want, they have all the cards in their favor and its their game. The best thing to do is tell her your intentions right of the get go, it will save you alot of time, aggrivations, tears and money. She will either say yes or no,, if you play coy, she will see right thru you and play your game while taking you to the cleaners at the same time, I thinks its just nature, a part of their survival machanism and also to teach you a lesson for playing them for a fool. But thats just my opinion, Good hunting,,,,
