In your room...
The most important thing to a teen or child living at home is their bedroom, their room.
What was yours like? Did you decorate it self with posters and stuff? Did you have things you tried to hide between the mattress , like stashes of magazines, locked diaries, etc?
What was the worst thing your parents found in your room that you tried to hide?
Did you have a way or route to sneak in and out without them knowing?
Or maybe you had one of those basement rec rooms, where you and your friends could hang out?
Did you ever steal any liquor, cigs, or money from your parents to support your teen lifestyle?

my room had a built-in piano set back in built-in shelves. it was really neat. i used to sneak friends in. they would hide under the piano and i would close them up until the coast was clear. i also had a big tapestry hanging from the ceiling and some posters of led zeppelin and aerosmith and kiss. i used to sneak a cig or two from dads pack of kents - sometimes i would sneak a buck or two from his wallet too. don't tell!

My room was quite girlie, which i'm not. I had a locked diary hidden under my bed.  The worst thing my parents found in my room, was a boyfriend,  not to bad i hear you say, but he was naked and it was 4am, hard one to explain!!!

My room was upstairs in a very old house, creaky stairs and floor boards, it could take ya a considerable amount of time and patience to creep along down the stairs and out the door without all that squeaking giving you away...

my room had lots of posters of whatever band i was into at the time (most recently guns n roses and ratt!!) also a couple of posters of heather locklear and heather thomas(from the tv show the fall guy) in thight shorts and bikinis..
the most embarassing thing anyone ever found in my room was a crusty cloth i used to clean up my cumstains from masturbating too much  ...still do that...lol
i used to steal cigs and beer from my brothers...then i found out that i only had to ask my dad, he'd have given me all the beer i wanted as long as i left him a couple...lol

My room as a teenager was great...I had a stereo system, a very "fancy" waterbed and my walls were light peach. I had my own bathroom and a dressing room/closet that was huge. The vanity and closets in the dressing room were terrific, tons of room for clothes, accessories, there was an entire shelf system for SHOES & PURSES! My friends and I used to hang out listening to music, practicing how to put on our make-up and doing our hair. The exit at my house was just a hop, skip, and a jump out the front door...my parents slept really hard!!!

that crusty old masturbation cloth could double as a tapestry..think about it? ..what a conversation piece..

I had to share my room, with my dumb ass brother. So we had twin beds, each had a dresser, I still have it, very small closet. I had shelves on my side of the room. I put my stereo and all my albums, and 8-tracks on. Never really had any posters, but did have a picture of a really cute clown, dad made the frame, still have that. All in all really boring, but nice.  We never had to steal anything from parents, they didn't drink or smoke.
