Miss Universe
Most of us love seeing someone get a second chance, we're big softies with lots of heart...but does anyone disagree with Trump's decision in the case of Miss Universe?
Part of me is happy to see her given another chance, she's so young and at her age, it's easy to make mistakes, but...then again, these women are drilled on the code of ethics that go with winning the pageant, wearing the crown, and being a positive role model for young women...I think maybe she should have herself, shown her remorse and regret with the classy move of passing the title on to the runner up...and her second chance should have been that she be welcomed to enter again next year.
I'm not a fan of beauty pageants, not at all...but I'm a huge fan of hearing what others would have done if they were in the shoes of Miss Universe, or Mr. Trump in this matter!

Re: Miss Universe
I agree with the idea of a second chance, but honestly it would be more in line with the contract for her to step down, or even share the title while she is in rehab --- after all how would she complete appearances while she needs to concentrate on growing up.

I can't believe that Trump did that. Rehab my ass, most of us know that rehab doesn't do shit. The only rehab that works is the person themselves, must want to. All that she is looking for, is the money and prizes that she is getting for her crown. It's all about the $$$$$

Re: Miss Universe
Basically, she knows the rules AND she sure should know that all eyes are on her. For her to want to party because she was 20 (now 21) then don't enter the contest. If you win, you need to be Ms. 'Saint' America for a year. Of course when was the last time you really heard any news about Ms. America during her reign unless she was in the local area doing something.
Publicity orchestrated by Mr. Trump himself??
The spin Dr. at work??? Things that make you go, hmmmm.

Is it just me, or does it seem that the word,"Universe" as being a bit narrow minded? I mean, you never see Miss Mars, Miss Saturn, or Miss Venus enter in this pagent. Only women from around the globe actually enter. Just a thought at three AM...

Yep...I do agree....this new trend of saying and doing anything you want at anytime is acceptable as long as you apologize later and enter rehab is gettin' old.

I look at that 21 y/o individual and see a little girl in a big ass world. Yes, she did sign a morals clause as the USA queen, but you know it was just bunch of words that are meant for real grown up adults, not her pretty self. Immaturity? Probably. An excuse? No f**kin' way!!
I'll assume she had no adult chaperon while she was out and about in NYC. No one counseling her as to what to avoid. Man that place will eat you alive, especially a young woman from the heartland.
Maybe TRUMP should have fired her ass. He would have done her a big favor! That way she could have gone back to TEXAS and just blended back in to the scenery. The home folk would have forgiven her and welcomed her back. Hometown girl returns from the bowels of the earth, NYC!!!!!
