Doctor's note...
Due to the recent increase in absenteeism, and tardiness by some of our WN members, we will start requiring a signed note from your doctor when you miss a day here.
And if you are tardy...then report to my office first!
I wanna hear what lame ass excuses ya'all can come up with.

Please excuse Ptr yesterday since there is a snowstorm in the Rockies and he failed to return home last night. He was "hibernating" under some sheets of another lady friend of his.

Sorry Chazzy, I have been playing Santa, easing around the crazy distorted Soccer Moms at various malls and department stores who want to buy their child's love. All I want to do is buy some socks so my children won't be cold Christmas morning - but what can you do - games have just lept into my arms.

sorry for my absence, had to go out of state to attend my uncle Hermans funeral. the poor man had a really long nose,and had caught a terrible cold. he apparently rolled over in the night,got his nose caught in his ear, and when he sneezed,blew his brains out ! am i forgiven ????

honestly...i found a dead cat on the side of the road...and i thought it deserved a proper funeral...or maybe I'm late because i found a horse wandering the street and had to try locating it's owners....
no wait...i was making a left hand turn on a country road, i lost my hubcap and had to go back and search the roadside ditch until i found it....
these ARE ACTUAL excuses I've heard in my life...

I posted this about 10 months ago....and we are do for a renewed look at this policy...
Where's Mooant lately? Azcapt, Smitty....too many others! Time to recirculate the absenteeism memo again!
