Baggage
What has changed you in your past relationships, that you carry with you in current or new relationships?
Have you learned to be less trusting, or have you learned to curb suspicion and jealousy and now can trust more?
Have you learned to compromise instead of buttin' heads, or maybe learned to be more open minded, flexible, etc.....?
Have you come away with any baggage labeled "Never again!" ?

Re: Baggage
I would say i have learned to be spontaneous and adventurous, keep things exciting and fun, as it's so easy to fall into a rut.

Ma and I have been together for such a long time now, that we don't have anything left in the suit cases.

Re: Baggage
past relationships make us who we are and adds character. each relationship has molded me into a stronger person. i won't let anyone be abusive to me, verbally or physically.

Re: Baggage
Couldn't have said it any gooder Lizzy. I think I'm a little smarter now, but not gun shy. I know that just because she has the body of a goddess, doesn't mean she gives a shit about you, or just because you care for her a lot, no matter how hard you wish for it, doesn;t mean the feelings are mutual.

Re: Baggage
i once upon a time fell for a girl where things just didnt quite work out. still love her and the thought of the match we made.. or couldv'e been. anyhow i cant shake it/her and until i do i find it near impossible to give the 100% it takes for a successful relationship with anyone else.
not to mention any female current or future in my life will be unfairly compared to her... or the image of her i have in my head.

Re: Baggage
If I had to tip the porter for handling my baggage, I wouldn't be able to pay for the room.

Re: Baggage
Amen Tung! I don't have baggage, I have walls, I am quite the mason. I've learned never to let your walls down too soon because a tiger sometimes doesn't show his stripes until you've allowed him deep in the jungle. I try not to judge others based on what someone else is done and I haven't lost my capacity to love deeply, I'm just very, very cautious!!! The other side of this is that I think it has developed a keen sense of humor that can only come from having your heart broken a time or ten...

Really wish I was there to "lighten the load" for you. I'm sure mine would lift right off my shoulders too, once I was with you.
