If you had to get a tattoo, what image/word(s) would you choose and what part of your body?

I have one on my shoulder, and want to get one that will have the family. Just not sure what yet. I still want to get a flower of some kind and yes the typical spot on the top of the breasts.

I can't imagine the pain involved using a tattoo gun there, but ya got me mullin' on that one! I think I'll just get some colored fine point Sharpee markers and give it a whirl...

I am not in the entertainment field or have tribal tendencies, I am not easily swayed or follow others, and I do not have the need or urge to mark my body to make a statement. I guess that makes me boring, although I enjoy wondering and looking at the profound works that others have done to themselves.

so far I have 2. One with Warren's name in it and one with the Superman symbol. Planning a couple more. Not because I'm a follower, just because I love the way they look....but ya know what.....I HATE NEEDLES!!

Ma would have said the same thing, Pepper. I know she wants to get a couple more, and I'm a virgin, when it comes to tats and piercings. But so far I've not found the right tat.

I've thought about getting one...in the "tramp stamp" area with my Mom's name in the center of a heart and three smaller hearts coming off of it with each of my babies names...but I hate needles and it would take a huge leap for me "Miss Conservative" to do it. I think it is cool when other people get them...

I finally got one after much anticipation. I looked for a long time to find one like I wanted. I talked about it for a long time as well. Then a new neighbor moved in across the street, and he is a tattoo artist. So he designed one to my liking, and I just did it. I got mine on my bicep. You cant see it if I am wearing a short sleeve shirt. So I think it is all good. I am thinking about another, with my wife and kids names, but I have not found a design that I like.

i'm not sure if i like the way tramp stamps look or belly rings - if i were to get a tat or piercing it would be one of the two. it hasn't happened yet so i doubt it ever will.

I never wanted a tramp stamp either only because it seems every female has one - I am almost up to having an all black tribal dragon some where in the size of 6-8" tattooed up the right side of my back. I have looked for a tattoo for years that I liked and finally found this one. Now to gather up the courage (and of course the cash) and get it done! Fortunately where I live there are more than a few excellent tattoo artists to choose from.

On Inked I saw a sliver of a moon with a fairy sitting on it bowing her head - it was in memory of someone and was absolutely beautiful probably on my lower back or shoulder.
