What do ya love about Winter?
Even if you don't live in a climate where it snows, there are still bound to be "seasonal differences" I'm sure!
What's are some of the things that change when winter hits your area, less tourists, ornaments on Palm trees, etc...?

But a hard winter can make spring even more beautiful!
Things I love about Winter....finally digging the car out to make a trip to the market, and on the way spotting a completely empty large parking lot...whip it in there, do a few "donuts" ..then back on my way to the market.
Coming in from the freezing temperatures after shoveling, getting firewood, whatever...and being able to say..."Wow, we'd better get out of these cold wet clothes and get warm by the fire before we catch ourselves a really bad cold!

Best thing about winter.... Is keeping warm! To have a female body next to mine under a blanket next to a fire. Bodies press together creating your own heat..

Used to really enjoy snowmobiling, ice fishing, etc. The past few years I'd rather cross-country ski or snowshoe through the woods in relative silence. Get to see, hear and appreciate a lot more that way. Must be my age.

I love to watch the soft snow coming down. In the morning to see all the snow and frost on the trees. The best part is you have to cuddle up to keep warm.

Re: What do ya love about Winter?
I used to go snowmobiling, skating, skiing, ice fishing, snow ball fighting, snow fort making. But now I just swear at the cold as I've froze my fingers and toes too many times to count, and they will get cold in a heart beat. It never fails that the car will have to be worked on, ya know on those days when its -15 degrees air temp with wind chill of about -30 to -40, and ya have to work on it outside with no cover. Hell I worked at a ski resort two years ago, ya think I got to go down the slopes even once, NO.
But I do just love going out after a fresh snow fall, and seeing all the trees covered in snow, and the roads look so clean, no salt or sand on them yet.

Re: What do ya love about Winter?
I love to see it fall and the perfect white blanket before it gets messed up by being driven over, shoveled, walked on, ect. Have never driven in it, God willing, never will.
I think when it snows more than 6 inches a mandatory snuggle day should be declared for adults. No going out to work, just stay home and enjoy the beauty of the day.

Re: What do ya love about Winter?
I HATE winter! It slows down business, causes counter productive labor costs, increases fuel and energy costs as well as related expenses for snow plowing, shovels, rock salt etc. Oh the joys of living in Buffalo! Its not even the first official day of winter yet and we've already had 3 major storms. As I'm typing this, I'm watching people cleaning a fresh 6 inches of snow that fell over night off of their cars in 19 degree temperatures with a -3 wind chill. So to answer the original question, there is nothing that I love about winter.

J is right, though. We don't get much snow here in Texas. When we do get our one day out of the year {MAYBE!), I play outside with the kiddos and the dogs all day. I tried kicking snow at my dog one year... ended up flat on my ass. I swear she looked like she was laughing at me
