Keyboarding...
How would you rate your keyboard/typing skills?
I can type kinda fast, but with my vision probs, proofreading and editing what I've typed can give me a headache. I'm better with the standard letters on a keyboard, but typing numbers and symbols can really slow me down.

I am a two finger typist. Well three if you count my thumb on the space bar. I took typing in grade 9 and my final mark was 29%. That was before electric typwriters were used in the schools and yes I learned on a manual typwriter and I used all 8 fingers and two thumbs. I dropped typing the next year. My marks were so bad because I had too many typing errors. I discovered, after entering the workforce and I got a job that required some typing, that I could type faster and with more accuracy with two fingers and I have continued this way ever since. I tried to revert back to all my figners a few years ago but it was just too slow and I had to make too make corrections afterwards.

Even though I've been a programmer for the last 17yrs, I still only type with two fingers.

It must be - some can go quite fast that way. I prefer the 8 finger way and do pretty well.

I can't type with only 2 fingers I have to use 8 although my right pinky get's used the most figure that one out

I also use all fingers, and some times my toes. OK not really the toes, but I'm good at it, but not fantasic, and I'm a male.

I'm a two handed kind of girl...typing and otherwise...LOL.
I actually type extremely fast...I took speed typing classes...the problem is I usually type faster than I think...which sometimes leads to keyboard in the mouth syndrome, especially when in the chat room!!!

I use 2 fingers and hunt and peck sort of. Alot of backspacing, but I ave gotten faster. Still not as fast as Pa.

Dudes, I was hittin' some radical sites awhile ago, when, "Bam" the the key before H and after F popped off. Bummer, now I can't even spell my own name dudes...If I can put it back on that would be totally narrlee...
