Good mornin', afternoon, evenin', everyone 
I'm trying my best to just relax this morning. The day will get more hectic as it goes.... all the stuff I have to do this afternoon and getting my kiddos to their shows this evening. My son has to be at the school by 5:30 for their 6 o'clock show... my daughter has to be at her school at 6:00 for her 7 o'clock band performance. Why in sam hell the schools didn't discuss this between each other just blows my mind! They're also having a meeting at the town hall to discuss a major road rerouting.... guess what time that starts... 6frickin30! 
Ok, I'm done venting... coffee anyone?

They better not!   Nah, what I think they're going to discuss is rerouting one of our FM roads to make it more of a straight shot to the next town. As it is now, the road has a LOT of curves. The guys that ride their crotch rockets through here will be upset about it, I'm sure lol

Well good then....they've been trying for a decade to put a new highway near me, but they get a helluva fight everytime, the new highway would bypass allot of little towns that depend on the current one AND the new one would be at the cost of quite a few 100 year and older occupied farms. I don't think we need to worry around here about anymore, DOT keeps blowing thier budget every year!

we also have been fighting with DOT on a road for the last 25 years. We need it badly as its the one of very few that cross the river into Wisconsin. During the peak summer months, it almost always bumper to bumper. They had planned on a new 4 lane that would bypass all the lakes and cities, but everyone has complained. But the problem will never go away until they do that. The cities along the that route are dying anyway, so its like what's the difference. There are so many of the local people that have never even been in the down towns of the local cities, and more and more business's are closing because they can't compete with the big box stores.

Good morning! Spent most of my day yesterday doing the outdoor Christmas decorating....turn out really well..except for the lights...all the strands of lights worked fine when I checked them individually...but once I daisy chained them...I got nuttin ! So that's where I'll be spending my morning, out there trying to figure out WTF!!!

being an electricians daughter I have to ask....do you have a short somewhere? a bulb burnt out? a blown fuse? A lot of times you can get around one or more of these problems by the use of splicing them together. I have done it many times, specially if I was not in the mood to go buy all new ones!
(I know, you're probably going to or already have done all these things)

Well...I gotta log out for a bit...gotta go to the Super Walmart...I really hate shopping, just wanna get it over with! Especially at a Super Walmart...takes too much time for me to just get from the pet section allllll the way over to the food department...

I'm back and my Super Walmart experience really sucked, it was all good till I got to the check out....the lady ahead of me had a modest cart full, but had every few items checked out seperatly...I think a total of 6 different check outs...and paid for all of them out of the same checkbook???
Don't know what's up with that, don't care, all that counts is that I finally got the hell outta there and I'm back home again!

i'm just getting so over the commercialism of christmas already. it's insane. it's not about shopping after all. how did we get so involved in this ritual of buying gifts for everyone? i say we all wait until after christmas to do our shopping. that would be the smart thing to do. bah, humbug!

Sounds like you're gonna have a pretty busy weekend. I probably won't do much of anything. Need to take my son's frames back up to TSO. I guess they have to see for themselves that they're the wrong ones before they'll order the right ones Might try to get a little bit of Christmas shopping done, too... and I mean a little! I'm usually a last minute shopper. I put it off 'cause I don't like shopping! lol

It's so nice to be home from work early on a Friday.

Well, hell... my daughter's team lost today Hey, can't win 'em all, right It wouldn't be so bad if they would've made even half of the shots they took. They did start playing pretty aggressively.... in the last 5 minutes of the game! They did pretty good, anyhow... I'm proud of 'em

Good Afternoon people. Hope your day is going better than mine. I took the Spitfire up for a while today & was up about 5,000 ft coming out of a turn, & went into a High G dive & left bank & nailed a bird in my windshield. It cracked my windshield & splattered guts & feathers all over. Could be worse I guess, It could have come through the glass. But still a windshield for a 1943 British Spitfire Mk. V isn't cheap, or easy to come by. The birds though, seem to be very easy to find. Damn, Damn, bloody Damn!! You got anything strong to put in that coffee Juils??
