I was on very strong antibiotics for weeks before the appointment, they made me so sick and queasy, even when I took them with food.
The dentist said there was still some infection there in one tooth when it was pulled...

vicodin used to have that effect on me too but now i am not even phased by it. i guess all of its strength goes to killing the pain and i've become immune to the buzz.

Well, this week has been crazy for me again at work. Overtime started again. Guess that's what you call job security. lol But sure would love to be able to have a life outside of work soon. Always great for me when I get to come in here and see how everyone is doing.

Good mornin', afternoon', evenin', everyone! We had some hellacious storms blow through here last night. They said the winds would be between 60 and 80 mph. I'm thinkin' they were around 80 to 100! It took out one of our hackberry trees. Snapped it at the roots. Luckily it didn't take out the power lines. The electricity went out all over DFW and surrounding areas. Most of the stop lights that I've seen still aren't working. I had to go to jack in the box for dinner because I couldn't cook... boy howdy, was that a mistake! There were only 4 places with electricity in the next town and the drive throughs were backed up with at least 10 cars! Took me an hour and a half to get supper in a town only 10 miles away! Next time we're havin' sammiches! 
Anyhow... it's clearing up for the weekend  SMITTY and all that were in the storms path, ROLL CALL!!!!!

I made it through the storms with minimal problems, just a few missing tree limbs. At one point the wind blew so hard that the front door leaked water under the sill and I had to mop it up. Rainfall was at least 3 inches per hour but it didn't last too long, maybe a little over a half hour. Storm spotters estimated the wind at 80 mph. We were lucky and power loss was a whole 10-15 seconds. Over 300,000 homes w/o power after the storm passed and Sunday early am its down to 4,500 homes still off. I haven't heard from boomer yet and its been real quiet in the Lobby all weekend. Smitty is still alive and well! Thanks for asking moon!

Glad to hear you came out of it all right, smitty! And yes, flp, that was a horrible storm! F5 tornado took out the whole town  Greensburg, Kansas. It made me so mad when people here were bitching about not having power or having a tree limb fall on their house and more storms on the way..... those people in Kansas had more storms on the way and they don't have a home at all anymore!  They're definitely in my prayers.

I made it through several storms only to have almost 5 hours of no DSL today. Web Naughty withdrawal has dire consequences like the DTs, profuse cold sweats and anxiety attacks. It's back now and I've gotten my "fix" for a few minutes so I'm better now. Any of you lovely ladies want to come over and console me? A little cyber? A whole bunch of hugs? A few kind words? Thank you for your polite attention.

Well, it's been another crazy week and it's only Tuesday. lol The national guard was called into a town about 10 minutes from us today because the levy broke. Work is still crazy. Still doing tons of over time. Had a bit of a break tonight. Was nice to have that break and get to chat with friends on here. Always makes my day a little brighter to get to chat with such great people.

Good mornin', afternoon, evenin', everyone Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!  My daughter made me wear a piece of paper around my neck that said "queen for the day." Every time I tried to get up to do something she'd tell me to sit back down. I finally got to do a bit of cleaning before too long We had so much to do over the weekend so my gift will have to wait till next weekend..... Scarborough Faire, here I come!!!

Howdy, everyone! Well, I didn't get to go over the weekend. But that's ok. I've been working really hard for a week and a half trying to organize a fish fry/ fund raiser for the middle school band.
