Good morning! There's been a steady rain all night, and so far today...it's taking the edge off my gardening frenzy!
It's kinda nice though, one of those light rain, rolling low clouds, and distant thunder coming from all directions...still a nice morning for coffee on the front porch.

I was mistaken.... there were 60 + tornados the other day! 20 of them in Texas and Oklahoma. Yep, it's that time of year again. We got a ton of rain here last night... at least Sunday is gonna be beautiful

OH wonderful, Nat'l Weather Sevice has just issued a winter storm warning. Damn you NRG. They are say tomorrow we can expect 6" or more of snow. I thought we were done with that. Good news is that it won't be here long.

Good mornin', everyone Well, my 6 year old is a tough little guy, too! He's doin' great after havin' his tonsils and adnoids removed yesterday. He still can't stand the medicine... I can't blame him  We did have a VERY close call coming home from the hospital.....
I'm usually the one that drives everywhere but since I had only 3 hours of sleep the night before, my hubby decided to drive home. We were about 4 miles from home when all of a sudden this rig in front of us slammed on his brakes. I told my hubby to go around him in the left lane.... he didn't. We slowed down so fast that he veered to the right to keep from hitting the rig in the rear. I looked around to see if there was a wreck up ahead. All of a sudden, a white car comes zooming past us in the fast lane goin' northbound on the southbound side of the highway! I asked him, "what on earth caused you to veer to the right instead of going around in the fast lane?" He just shook his head and said, "I have no idea." I knew this person was going to have a head on collision down the road because they have a lane blocked off further up. I found out later that they did. If I would've been driving, it would've been us hitting them head on at 70 mph  Someone was definitely watching over us yesterday.
Anyhow, I'm sittin' here waitin' for the "severe storms" to arrive.... hopin' for no tornados!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Well Moon you had a close call....listen to men, we know best (I will catch hell for that one!). Glad everyone's OK. We had our severe storms and tornado's rumble through last night. Pretty scary for a while but it kept moving east at 40 mph. Only a little damage in Ft Worth and a few people w/o power so we came out very lucky. A lot cooler today and close to freezing Sunday morning. Enough cold weather! This is Texas and it's mid-April.

Thanks Lib! It's greater than you can imagine! The husband does NOT have the best work ethic and this last time he ended up umemployed...I don't know what happened, I usually handle stress better...but I ended up with a two month case of the hives! It was miserable...and the anithistamines to treat it, made me so drowsy all the time.
