water restrictions kick in today...thank god i got my sod a cpl of weeks ago..and watered like hell!!
it is rainy today so...that's good for a first day of watering restrictions...and it's not my water day...

glad to know that you won't be loosing any wn time there lib! phew, that was a close one.
does bebbing mean planting? cause if it does i bebbed a whole hell a lot of plants last weekend. i bebbed corn, peppers, watermelon, tomatoes, eggplant, cilantro, arugela, asperugus, armenian and pickling cucumbers and lots more!

I went to the mailbox yesterday and got something that made my heart swell 10 times it's size. A letter that said "to the parents of ******* ********." I opened it up, read it, and got teary eyed with pride. There was also a letter to her....
Dear *******,
Congratulations! As a result of your outstanding academic achievements and demonstrated leadership potential, you have been selected to represent ***** Middle School and the state of Texas at the 2007 Junior National Young Leaders Conference this summer in Washington, D.C.
She was nominated by her math teacher. I know I'm braggin' again but I just had to share this news or else I'd pop!! I've always been so very proud of my kiddos but this one just took it to a new level!
On that note, I'm having an awesome day... hope everyone else is, too!!!

So happy it is Friday. It was a very long day at work and happy it is over.
What a beautiful day my thermometer reads 70 it is great. that gets some sun. All i know is it feels great outside.

Yeah, NRG... I heard on the news that there were around 20 tornados in tornado alley in one day.... 7 of those were in the panhandle. They said it's shifting east and heading our way. It wasn't supposed to rain at all until tonight... it's raining right now. I love spring time.... but I dread it, as well

Morning to all. Yea the weather here isn't the greatest either. Rained most of the day yesterday, so far its just cloudy and cool and windy. But we are getting more rain tonight. Talk about how the weather turns. Monday its sunny and 80, Tuesday it barely made it to 60, some sun, Wednesday 45 and rain. But we really need the rain. Still trying to recover from last years drought.

...and the rest of the country quivers when hurricane season comes to FL...you guys get tornadoes every other day in that part of the country..not my cup a tea..
i'll take the prospect of a hurricane or two..and it is a prospect on occasion to the certainty of tornado seasson in tornado alley every year...that and the thongs on the beach i take with it...

Thanks for your thoughts moon, and I don't wanna bum anyone out, but yes...the very old 18 year old cat I have been devoted to caring for since his renal failure around Christmas time, did pass on recently...he went quickly and peacefully, with both of us by his side and although I miss him terribly, I'm alright with it. It was something I expected to happen fairly soon, I'm fine with it.
