Yep, the cat is more comfortable now, which makes me happy, he's had breakfast, a sponge bath, and he's relaxing in front of the fire I built for him this morning...he's a sweetie!
I was just browsing the "community" section, slowpoke and Julianna have each posted a new story there in the "user submitted" story section....really good stories too!
I'm jealous...I suck at the creative writing thing...

Good Morning...we may get a little ice so I stocked up at the grocery and actually hope things get bad enough to keep up home...I can just smell the chili cooking, the chicken soup simmer, cornbread in the oven, and cookies in the mixer...ice days here in Texas shut the entire state down...gotta love us bubbas...LOL.

woke up to 80 degrees at 8 am....i think i'll go online and look at snow pictures elsewhere...gets me all in the holiday spirit without having to drive in it...
