Sending another WN member TEXT files...
Whoops, sorry...but the message system here does not support text files, but occasionally, a member will want or have the need to send another member a text, pdf, or other unsupported type of files...
The best way I know of to do this (anyone got a better way, I sure would appreciate hearing about it!) is to just google up the keyword phrase "free online webhost(ing)" or just message me and I'll turn you on to the ones I use.
On a free webhost, you upload the files to that site, and then you'll get a link to share so anyone you want can follow that link and download the files.
(of course, you have to share the link via Private Message, and not in the forums or in your profile)
Sometimes these sites will just give you the link on the page after you upload, some sites will ask for a "recipient's email" I usually put in my own email address in that field, then I retrieve the link from there to share with others.

...just wanna add that webhost sites are also very good for sending really large files that can be difficult to send by email, and good for sharing video and music files too.
