I'm online doing my shopping right now...this year with everything that is happening with my Mom, I expect there will be a number of gift cards under my tree. I usually spend alot of time shopping and finding the perfect gift for everyone but this year it will be in the form of cold plastic cards...I'm certain everyone on my list will understand!!!

Actually, I like the cold plastic cards. My family never has a clue to the perfect gift. When I get the card, I get what I want, and send them a picture, of me enjoying what I bought. Then I don't have to go through what happened in past years... OH, look a pearl handled ice cream scoop!(secretly saying under my breath; What the hell am I going to do with this thing...) How thoughful...

Re: The days coming...
Gifts at Christmas. Who'd a thought?
I haven't given a gift in more than 20 years and my friends and family accept this. I feel and most always have that it is not a gift that makes Christmas, but sharing your love with your friends and family. This is what truly matters to me.

If you can have that at Christmas, that is the gift on your list.

This is actually a year 'round thing for me. One day out of a year should not make people nice.

You're right, it shouldn't, but if it does mellow out even some of the heads in the world, I'll take it!

Re: Re: The days coming...
I want to teach me children the true meaning of Christmas and show them that it is better to give than to receive. Its truly more satisfying.
