Artsy Fartsy
Do you like a particular artist or art style?
Maybe Remington western bronzes, Norman Rockwell, impressionism paintings, or cubism and modern?
One of my top choices is folk art...

Re: Artsy Fartsy
I love surrealism myself, particularly Salvador Dali ("The Hallucinogenic Toreador" and "Sting Caused by the Flight of a Bee" are two of my favourite paintings).

I admire any artist that can paint an entirely differently picture over something else. I find it extremely hard to paint period, let alone, paint over something I just did...

Re: Artsy Fartsy
Don't really have much of favorites although what really hits home with me is anything to do with Ducks Unlimited and I suppose Remington would have part of it as well.
Grew up with 6 males in my family and have come to like those types of pictures, etc.
I mean, when you look at those pictures that has those Labradors, how can you not like it? Look at their big brown eyes just looking at you.. it takes my breath away.

I enjoy Thomas Kinkade, his paintings are always filled with light and portray things in a positive way. We all need as many positives as we can get in life.

His art reminds me of something my daughter would draw. I like it. Kind of freakishly.... surreal.
Ansel Adams is another one I like
