Friday night
Do you do anything different on friday nite to celebrate the end of another week and the start of another weekend?
Do you treat yourself to some rented movies and quality junk food? (yep...quaility junk food is a bit of an oxymoron)
Do you look forward to gettin' with friends for a poker nite, or for a girl's (or boy's) nite out barhopping?
Do you make out your Home Depot list for a diy warrior weekend? Is it a chance to catch up on everything and all those chores that slip out of control during the week?
For me, Friday nite means maybe having a Margarita or two during my diner, something I never do during the week, and catch up on a DVD or two...make a few phone calls to check ahead of time to see if someone I wanna visit will be home during the weekend.

I usually pick up whatever groceries I need and watch some movies with the kids or read to them or go to the local high school football game, when in season.

Well, that's some worthwhile time spent, with your kids!
Me...I'll probably just have to settle with a hot shower, a clean set of flannel jammies, and enough margarita's to blur the fact that I married the most annoying man on the planet...

If it makes you feel any better-you're invited over after the kids go to bed so I can read you a bedtime story-I don't know how long the flannel jammies would stay on though. I'll be good.

i only work 4 days a week so my "fri" night has migrated to thurs.... so actual fri night is usually quiet and involves family or friends at most. it's the one night i can find time to cool real food etc. guess i'm getting old. lol

Most Fridays, me, the cat & the dog although they don't drink so much anymore since I switched from beer to vodka. (Must be the orange juice, maybe the ice- :laugh  ---maybe once or twice a month movies and some friends over for dinner & drinks. Don't really dig the bar scene anymore or the prospect of the present, all too frequently common nazi roadblocks. (ok then, euphemistically, "seatbelt checkpoints"  ---never received a DUI and don't need one---complicates & compromises life WAY too much. Have a safe weekend!
