Whoops!!!
When was the last time you really screwed up? Did you mess up at work or on a job, burn the dinner, break something, stick your foot in your mouth, etc...?

I'm sure I have more times than can be counted, but one that sticks out in my mind, After I was a out patient from the burn center, I had to go every 3 days to change bandages, & let them see how everything looked. My doctor was a lady I would guess in mid 30's. As I've already stated in earlier posts, the pain from a bad burn is one that I can't even describe. I remember telling my doctor that she was so mean, that her husband must be a trucker or something where he wasn't home much.She then told me her husband had died a year earlier. I just wanted to disappear. I felt so bad, I tried to stammer out a apology.I never said anything but yes or no to her after that. After my release, I sent her a big bouquet of flowers with another apology

Well dammit....just had to make an extra 8 mile round trip back to the Walmart...cuz I didn't get all my stuff, it somehow got lost(again) in that stupid, stupid shopping bag carousels they use to bag up your stuff at the checkout.

Recently at my Moose lodge I told an extremely "off color" joke to a couple other members and only when I was done did one of them let me know (won't be buying him another beer for awhile) that the couple near us having their fish fry dinner and well within earshot was a Baptist minister and his wife.

Iy's a tall order to list, chronologically, my f**k-ups! I got up this morning, was my first and the list grows from there in quantity and diversity. My "whoops" are actually a tapestry of my daily life. Preparing the wrong thing for breakfast, forgetting a few items at the store, arguing with my wife about what to watch on tv, ect.Today was definitely not a day for humpin' the wife! She says I'm not romantic. Can you believe it? lol
