Torn rotator cuff
Having surgery Monday Oct.30 to fix my torn rotator cuff,has anyone had this done and how much pain will I have to put up with?

Awww Geez...hope you're not suffering too much now? Sounds painful.
I sure don't know anything at all about the surgery, or the condition...but I'm wishing you a speedy recovery!

a neighbor of mine had that surgery(he is 75) and said he had quite a bit of pain !!

OUCH!!!! Best wishes on a speedy recovery!
Hint: Have someone write in Black marker "YES" on the side to be operated on, and NO on the other side....dont need any un-necessary pain!!!

The therapy is way worse than the surgery.

hun it wasn't any trouble. i might be odd, but if i don't know what something is i am going to go and find out. so next time it comes up i can say "yeah, i know what that is." about my batteries... lol

I have two family members who have had this type of surgery and I'm still deciding whether I'll be the third. They have told me that the greatest part of having it done is that the pain is gone immediately and are quite upset with me that I made the decision to postpone it for the time being. But then they aren't dealing with my situation and I absolutely can't be without the use of my arm for a minimum of 8 wks...wish you all the best!

Hi all!still sore and can't be on here long,just wanted to say hello and thanks,arm is in a sling for 2 weeks then go back to doc.and get it checked will know more then on the 13th of Nov.will try to say more later. Mike
