Re: Re: Biographies (forum game)
QUOTE (NRG4U @ October 28, 2006, 23:33)Went on a covered wagon trail ride for a week with approx. 150 other" pioneers", I was riding a young horse that wasn't quite broke, & got bucked off. A photographer from the "Nebraska Land" magazine was on the trip too. He snapped the photo of me on my back & everyone on the trail ride lookin at me. That photo is on the cover of the Nebraska Land mag. ( of all the film he shot he had to pick that one)1948

Remember the 4th of July well that yr. Parents, sister, and I went out to eat<wow> at El Sombrero restaurant and then drove around Lubbock, Tx., taking a "cruise" as my parents called it. We mostly looked at new carsfor the heck of it, was free to do.

Re: Biographies (forum game)
Thank you all very much...The revolutionary war, british invasion and the occupation of philadelphia did delay it till 1776 but, by 1774, it was a foregone conclusion. We were secceeding.

Well, I wasn't born yet, but I was making a pair of orthopedic shoes with lifts in them for President Harry S. Truman! Yup! That's what I was doing in 1945, believe it, or not!
