Best James Bond
You either love 'em, or hate 'em, what's your favourite James Bond film? Favourite 007 actor? (if you can call it acting)
Film: Live and Let Die - Because of the speedboat chase
Actor: Pierce Brosnan - Only because all the others are so bad
Casino Royale with Daniel Craig (Layer Cake and Munich) looks like it could be good.

Re: Best James Bond
Oh I have to go with any of the Sean Connery Bond films....and it goes way beyond just the acting abilties, special effects, story lines and scripts....they are classic examples of film making and the culture and era that they reflect.

Nice to see two lovely women, who appreciate James Bond. Sean Connery can play a very good Sean Connery, but not much else.

make it three ladies! I Sean, too! Now, I did like Pierce, very much also, just something about those two....*sigh*
Worst Bond? Timothy Dalton. I hate to say it, I was so looking forward to seeing him, but the ones that he did nearly ruined James. He's SUPPOSED to be a womanizer, that's how Ian wrote him!

I will be looking forward to it. Second worst would have to be George Lazenby...he just didn't suit the part!

Daniel Craig will definitely play a moodier Bond, unfortunately he might not have all the fancy gadgets either.

I have to be the fourth.. Sean can still beat them all, eventhough I did like Pierce. Both of the have that special hmmmm that can get me hmmmming and makes me want to throw away rules. Sean can still do it, no matter how old he is!

Re: Best James Bond
I have everyone of them on DVD. I spend every once in awhile, watching two or three in a row. I don't know if it's just me, but Roger Moore isn't all that great looking outdoors. The films make him kind of pasty looking. Probably having to do with all those extremely warm places they film the outside shots. I don't know...

Re: Best James Bond
Am I thinking the right guy with the name of Sean Connery? Tall, slender, dark hair, good looking?? If so, he's the only Bond I've liked and just fit the role perfectly. If I had money up the butt crack, I'd buy all the Bond movies he was in and none other.

Re: Best James Bond
Any comparison of the JAMES BONDS after SEAN CONNERY is downright blasphemous!!
I was in my early teens when I saw DR NO and GOLDFINGER. All I remember was how freakin' cool Mr. CONNERY was driving that ASTON MARTIN and the innuendos he delivered to the female cast members in those films. When he said "PUSSY GALORE", it sounded cool, not sleazy. That strong Welsh accent made it work. Sh*t, he was it!! The f**kin' coolest dude, hands down. When he asked for that "Vodka Martini, shaken not stirred", that became his trademark! To even mention the other JAMES BOND pretenders in the same breath is, well, laughable. Who do you think of when you hear the name JAMES BOND?...... LAZZENBY? BROSNAN? MOORE?......P-l-e-a-s-e!!
SEAN set the standard too high for all that followed. He was T-H-E JAMES BOND!!!!!!

I'll give it a look see. All I've heard about the movie from my lady friends is, how they loved his blue yes. He'll have to offer more than that, to change my mind.
