Do proffessional women always choose Docile men for husbands?
I know alot of proffessional women and it always seens like they have the upper hand on everything and their spouses gladly go along with everything they say and do.

Exactly, but when you talk to these woman at the office or their buiness, these woman are always commenting and craving these hot stud looking construction worker types that actually would love to be with these woman as well, but these high profile women on average always seem to marry the docile type,,,puzzles the shit out of me,,,then I thought well maybe they are going for the intellectualality instead of the stamina, but there are plenty of intelligent physicaly fit men out there as well.

I'll take a guess at this, from just what I know about these types of women....
The ones I know are "over achievers"...which means their success doesn't come easy or natural, they have to work very freakin' hard at it, and always have.
Even in school, to keep their top posts as straight "A" students, they had to work day and night, study harder than allot of their peers that they learn to see as competitors...they are driven women and since they get caught up in this kind of life as early on as preschool, they can't turn it off, ever.
With all this drive and hard work to stay on top and in control..the only relief they have is to have a man that will submit to their controlling nature without a fuss, fight or consequence.

I agree with some of what Chazzy says, but I think there is more to it. My second husband was very docile and easy going and considering how voltile I am it was nice to not have strong feelings when I got home. On the other hand it put me in charge of everything. I made all decisions and carried through with all ideas. In other words I adopted another child instead of marrying a partner. It isn't something I would ever do again, but I understood my rationale. On the other hand, it isn't easy to get used to someone else having the right to be heard and run the show occasionally. I have to make a concentrated effort to step back and let him have a say. It is working and I love it!

being that i've been married 3 times, i would have to say yes and no. even though i made more money there was such a thing called their egos i had to tip toe around. now that i have my bf, who was also a real close high school friend, it makes life easier. especially now that i am on disability. he is carrying me through these tough times financially, which is a nice but hard change for me. i guess i could get used to this.
