Good afternoon, its my sunday and have to return to work tomorrow 
The weather is suppose to be mild, mid 30's but climbing to the 50's later this week, still waiting for the other boot to drop on us. I think January is going to be real brutal, as its been so mild, and Dallas, TX has had more snow than we have so far this year.

It's a really fuzzy-looking caterpiller (black & black & orange ones here) that cross our country roads by the thousands in the fall. The tale is that the fuzzier they are, the worse the winter will be. The ones I've seen here this year look like those damn fuzzy hand-duster things, not a good sign!

Same worm, but the folk around here forcast the winter by how wide the black band is on the worm, not how fuzzy they are...there's also another folk lore classic method of predicting how hard a winter will be by slicing the pit of a persimmon, you forecast the winter by wherher you "see" a spoon, fork or knife in the center of the pit.

Well, come up to the North Pole, Mrs. Claus gets so lonely (she calls it "horny"  'bout this time of year and I'm so damn busy with horse whipping the elves (literally) trying to get them to do something. (Little, grotesque, ugly, pointed-eared, ungrateful alien bastards, but they're cheap labor!) and it's toasty warm in the Claus house! So bring yer laptop and keep the Missus satisfied 'til I get back. I know she's damn near 200 years old, but still a looker!

I have my coffee, my Celtic Chrismas music, I'm awake, and it's a beautiful day (or will be when the sun makes it above the trees), it's been raining, so the ground is wet and as late in the year as it is, it still smells like autumn around here!

That would be so cool...I've also seen Portugal, South Africa, Turkey, Ivory Coast....we got quite a few Austrailian members...
I'd love to hear from all these people in the forums, describing the natural beauty of their geographic locations, comparing culture and customs, the history of their homeland....

Noob huntin' is my favorite sport here! I love to send little spontaneous messages to as many people here as I can, and posting topics to lure them on in to the forums, and ya'all make it all worthwhile by welcoming them, and making them feel like a comfortable part of it all from the git go!
We've even played a game in the VIP room forum, each person plays by posting 3 onine noob's names that they have messaged an invite to the forums to, and the first one that gets a noob to post with their invite wins, or the one that gets the most noobs to post wins...of course, the more noobs we get, the more of a winning thing it is for all of us!
We can play this same game in this forum, but non-VIPS are limited to only being able to message VIP's with a invite...
