Pride and appearance
Do you have to look your best everytime you step out the door, or can you run a quick errand in stained T-shirt and think nothing of it?

Re: Pride and appearance
Hell, woman! I can run to the store in my jammy bottoms, t-shirt and no shoes and not think anything of it!

Re: Pride and appearance
I second that Moon, running to the store even without a bra on, or panties under my jammies is cool too!!

Oh yeah...that "down to earth" look just seems to make ya more approachable. Some guys find a woman "dressed to kill" a little intimidating...or something like that....
Is that saying something about the guy's self esteem...I mean, here I am, looking my absolute worst, and some guy looks at me as thinks..."Yeah, she in my league" ?????

Re: Pride and appearance
well, i like the grunge look now and again, but i always like to feel somewhat put together. now that i've lost my hair, i'm trying to get the nerve to walk out in the world looking this way or just wait until my wig comes in the mail.

Re: Pride and appearance
I often run to the store with torn jeans and old faded cut offs. It does not bother me. One time I was wearing a real old pair of cut off jeans and there was a hole in the crotch that I had forgotten about and I was out and about for several hours before I noticed it. Up until then I had been wondering why I kept getting strange looks from people.

Re: Pride and appearance
Nah, I cant do that. I dont even like to go out without shaving. Once I just ran to the post office because I was waiting results of a bid and threw on shorts, an old shirt and a baseball cap and ran into 5 different people that I know including the wife of a Judge that I know. Never again!

Re: Pride and appearance
I used to be high strung about looking good - even just to walk to get the mail.
Now I have relaxed I don't feel I need to do the whole make up thing, hubby likes me with out it anyway. I am fine running to the store in grubs & no bra. However, I sure do enjoy putting on clothes that make me feel sexy and womanly - I think it shows when you feel good about yourself and increases your confidence which increases your sexiness!

Re: Pride and appearance
If we are going out i will get dressed up and might put on some make up. But i would rather stay in comfy clothes or no clothes. Not a high priority for me anymore.

Re: Pride and appearance
Im always dressed to the hilt, clean shaved, and showered, and I would never, ever, post nude photos of myself on a website suggestive of sex

Yeah, like the judge never sits around in front of the tv on a beanbag chair in his fruit of the looms eatin' cheetos! HA!

Hey LIZ, glide your pretty self on over to my place and I'll welcome you in, hair or no hair. You look F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!
Better yet, I'll take you wig shopping. That way, I'll get to show you off.

Guess it depends on the day, time (such as am I rushing or do I have time?), weather, mood.
