I am fortunate to have a few really good friends that I have and always will turn to.......
Other than that, I rely mainly on myself!......I have learned that lesson just recently, and strongly believe that what won't kill you, will only make you stronger!....

my key rack. never come across anything yet that a leisurely cruise or just plain tearing it up cant sort out. that's why i own more motors than pairs of pants. LMAO

When I wound up in a burn center after getting caught in a tractor explosion, hoping the doctors there, could somehow get some skin back on me, without making me look like some scarred up freak that would make anyone who saw me lose their lunch, & being at the very lowest point in my life, when I could have used some support, That was when my ex wife chose to end our marriage, thinking that I would be scarred, & hideous looking, thus causing our friends to stop coming over or inviting us for a get together . That taught me to NEVER count on anyone. If someone chooses to stop & offer their help or support, I'm thankful for it. But I will never count on it again, cuz when it doesn't show it leaves you with hurt, dissappointment. A lasting impression non the less.

I lean on me! I have close close friends who are more than willing to listen to me and I am so grateful for that, they offer their help day or night....but...I very rarely ever take advantage of those generous offers. They too have lives and families and I feel guilty accepting those offers. And as for nyk's old saying..."if it don't kill ya...it'll make you stronger" I can truly say it almost did...so maybe I'm stronger than I thought.

Asking anyone for help leaves a bad taste in my mouth, would make me feel like I failed somehow. I look inward and examine where I'm at and what my options are. Somehow I find an answer and a way through whatever it is. It's great to have friends, family and moral support, but it boils down to being self reliant as the only one you really know completely is yourself. That way, if you fail, you only have yourself to blame and then give yourself a good swift kick in the ass and move on!

I turn to my best friend, he has been my best friend for over 20 years, and wow! now he is the man I love, amazing how it works out that way.

The ones I know that will tell me the truth whether I want to hear it or not. *sometimes I already know the answers deep down, but at times just need to hear it from someone else*
Also, my son, because whether he understands the situation or not, he always tells me it'll be okay and wants to do something to make me smile again. (Which doesn't take much for him to do)

Well all me local friends r either married n have family worries or tsome have simply left town for whatever reason, so I rely on meself n kill ALOT of time on the net.
