Feelings vs Emotions
What is your thought on this?
Feelings vs. Emotions?
Personally....
Emotions are created by sole untouched privacy of the individual, they are subject to neither criticism nor judgment. Feelings and emotions can have a rational or irrational basis, but they are never "Right" or "Wrong". They are spontaneous, automatic reactions that are not in the immediate or direct control of a person. No one ever needs to feel guilty about their emotions.
A person should only be responsible for his or her actions they take. Those actions include words that come out of the mouth, which determine a persons competence, self-esteem, and happiness.
Since feelings and emotions are subjective, one should not make moral judgments or decisions solely on personal feelings or emotions. Never judge a book by its cover. Never jump the gun!!

I also believe that we can have more than one soulmate. I believe we can have many. I have found a few online soulmates and I also believe that one can fall in love online too.

Re: Feelings vs Emotions
TicaD, Feelings are neither right or wrong, they just are. It's what you do with those feeling that is right or wrong. Words canoot be taken back once theiy are out, that's why you think before you speak. When you speak to anyone, speak from your heart, Never hurting anyone, never judging, speak the truth and speak about feelings, not anger. Anger is just a surface Feeling, it's whats under that anger that you want to talk about. Talking is not speaking from room to room, its sitting down and looking inot each others eye's and tell them what is going on inside. Hold each others hands, lookiing into the eye's, Why, ( because the eye's are the mirror to the soul ).
Emotions are feeling, it's in the heart.

Re: Re: Feelings vs Emotions
My dear, openions, feelings and emotions are all different.
An openion is something that you have about someone that has nothing to do with knowing that person. Feelings are emotions, actions within the heart. Feelings are neither right nor wrong, they just are, it's what U do with those feeling that make them right or wrong. If you find a person who has the same feelings, then life get's dull, connot be your soul mate. It will end in disaster, why would you want someone who is just like you, its like talking to a mirror? Have you never heard that opposites attract, because thats how people are made. Their is noone whos feeling are the same to any one time in your life. NOw ask yourself, how many feelings did you go through just readingg this? are they the same as mine or your significent other?

I also believe that we can have more than one soul mate. I believe we can have many. I have found a few on-line soul mates and I also believe that one can fall in love on-line too.
i agree with you nineforu i fell in love before on-line, it was only the distance that kept us from being together, we both decided to part company on-line, till this day she is still in my heart, i think it is happning again but i am fighting it, i don't know if she feels the same, so i am just close friends with her, don't want to spoil the friendship i have with her

Re: Re: Feelings vs Emotions
Emotions are personal and private, but if you let those emotions get out of control, you do say things that will hurt others. You can control your emotions and your feeelings, the feeling are neither right nor wrong, it's what U do with them that make them right or wrong.
You are responsable for you words you say to others, hurting others is very irresponsible. I had to learn that the hard way. Your right about their selfesteem, compatence and Happiness. I do think your have to look at the whole picture though, how they were raised, where they come from, what they were taught. Many factors are in this equasions.
Never judge, least you be judged! I don't judge anyone unless I've know them for a long time. Then I don't judge, it's a personal perspective of the person and situation.

Re: Re: Re: Feelings vs Emotions
Feelings are what they are, and everyone has different feelings and emotions then you have. If the feelings are the same or close to you, life would be so dull, you know what they feel all the time, but you can't, because their feeling's are still different from your's, now let me explain, if I felt hurt, you could not possibly come close to how I feel unless I share it with you, then my hurt may be more or less then your's. You can come close to understanding, but not feeling, it's diferent. That's what makes life unique, each person unique. I would like a challenge then be stuck in a rut.
