Does anyone ever acknowledge?
I have written quite a few times to different females and I have yet to receive any sort of response. Do you think these people are real. You would think they would be polite enough to respond that they are not interested. At least I would know they had checked me out but were not interested. That would be better than waiting or hoping someone would reply. I wonder if they ever check their e-mails or if they just had too many replies.

Well, since you posted that in the introductions forum, first of welcome 
About the responses matter... I haven't checked your profile but I can see you don't have a picture. I think a picture would help. But most of all, as I have already said before, the best way to meet people is through the forums and the chatrooms. Be an active participant in them, for me it's the best way to start conversations with people. Don't ask yourself why some people won't answer, you cannot get into their heads, just think of what is the best way to "present" yourself to all the members here.
I think Chazzy can say what I mean in much better words, she's the 911 on these matters

Some members won't respond to someone without a photo, so sure, a photo will increase your responses, so will being very active and visible on the site...this makes you seem very familiar...people will feel like they already know you.
Also, when sending messages, make sure you check the "last online" part of their profile, are they online frequently?
Some members aren't, and others may need more time to respond as they might be (as with allot of women here) very popular and have a large volume of mail to deal with.
And lastly, be sure and read those profiles, are you what they are looking for, or are you just sending messages to people for reasons like...they are close to you geograhically, they have photos that get you hot?

Also keep in mind, some might just be here for the forums, etc. Just to talk to people from all over, kinda thing. With no interest of actually meeting up with someone. But I wouldn't know if that's the case for all the folks on here.
