JAMES WOODS...............
I, for one, am looking forward to this thursday's premier of "SHARK" starring JAMES WOODS on CBS at 10pm.
I have been a JAMES WOODS fan since I saw "THE ONION FIELD" 25 years ago. He shined in "The GENERAL'S DAUGHTER" and was very good in "ANY GIVEN SUNDAY". He always hits the mark when he portrays less than nice characters. If you'll notice, he gets a shit load of close ups as he delivers his lines. He ain't pretty and yet, the director must feel his delivery is powerful enough to warrant those close-ups. The man delivers!!!!
He gave a very poiniant dedication to his recently departed brother on "The TONITE SHOW" last week as only he could. That made me want to call my brother and reconnect with him.
He also revealed on the show, his connection to the investigation of the terrorists on the planes that struck the WORLD TRADE CENTER on 9/11. I was riveted to his tale of his interviews by the FBI. He said that he was on a BOSTON to LOS ANGELES flight 6 weeks prior to 9/11 and he remembered seeing 6 of the terrorists on that flight doing kind of a dry run for 9/11. He also revealed that the FBI investigator let it slip that more box cutters were found taped under seats in planes that were also scheduled to depart BOSTON's LOGAN INTERNATIONAL later in the day on 9/11. No mention as to how many more planes might have been destined to strike more targets that day. Fortunatly, BUSH grounded all flights for the remainder of the day. Talk about getting a cold chill!!!!
Are there any JAMES WOODS fans out there??????
Let's hear it.

Re: JAMES WOODS...............
i agree. he is a very under-rated actor! the onion field was such a scary movie. i remember that it left a lasting impression with me, as it is an actual true story.

Re: JAMES WOODS...............
I like him a lot. I have never seen the onion Field (I tend to avoid movies that will make me cry) but he was very good in John Carpenters "Vampires"

Re: JAMES WOODS...............
He was also in San Salvador... Very depressing movie , with Him as a cameraman and reporter. To be able to ACT in a movie such as that takes alot of guts...!!!!

He said one time that he liked playing the bad boy. He does such a great job. I think the fact that he ain't a pretty boy helps. I'm sure he'll make "SHARK" a hit. A thursday night slot should help the cause. A great night for drama. Go JAMES!!!!!!!

Re: JAMES WOODS...............
I thought he was great in "Catseye" and hey if you Watch Family Guy, you'll know the kids go to James Woods High School. How awesome is that?
