How to do - Much appreciated!
Have relatives with kids coming to stay for ?  /  as completion of their new house is behind schedule and they are closing on their old house this coming weekend and have to be out. I have the rooms, I'm in their school district and hate to see them pay for a hotel indefinitely. (Yes, surprisingly, even more than putting them up here). My questions is, how can I stop receiving email notices from WN (messages, etc.) while they are here as they will surely be using my computer to access their own email? I just want to be able to come to the WN site and access my messages from here only. Hope there's a way to accomplish this. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much!

I think if you go to my account at top of page and then go to my preferences, you can do it there. you can set it to receive notice or never. I think. Give it a check.

I know this isn't part of your original request, but I figured I'd also mention you might want to clear your Internet's cache too. That way, no one will see you've been to WN or what other sites you visit.
If you aren't sure how to do this, just go (in Internet Explorer) to Tools->Internet Options->Delete Cookies->Delete Files (Make sure Delete all Offline Content is Checked)->Clear History.
That'll make sure your 'browsing past' is well masked by whoever may be using your PC next.
I hope my post helps, I know a lot of people forget to clear that stuff out when letting other's use their computer. But I might aswell do this to myself:

--------Thanks for the reminder. I clear cookies, run a thorough scan and defrag at least once a week routinely. I'll just have to be more diligent re: the cookies for sure while they're here. Your advice is good for everyone as those damn cookies can really bog your system down after a while.

You can download some good freeware programs that will easily and quickly erase all your internet activities and tracks. (I download programs like this from Majorgeeks.)
I think one good program is called something like "internet sweeper"....

just out of curiosity why cant you have the kids log on under guest---instead of them using your log on info--wouldnt this prevent them from seeing what you do also.

An excellent utility which works with Internet Explorer and Firefox and also cleans many other locations is:
CCleaner.exe. It is a freeware/shareware and it seems to do the job.
If you truly want a good erase of things - get cyberscrub and it will make everything you delete unrecoverable.
