Let's get ready to RUMBLE...
You opened this thread expecting to read another thread about sports, especially with that subject title I had there, right??
Well... that's not the case for this one. Just a little overly pumped up for the fall season and for the fact that HALLOWEEN is on its way!!!
Got any ideas?! What do you do for halloween? Got any suggestions and whatnots for another exciting occasion?!?!
Do you dress up?! Scare all people that you can, or what?!
I want details (in my most polite way of asking!) of what you all do for this exciting day. I like hearing these kinds of stories.
BCB.. if you're wondering, no, nothing like those stories regarding that big ol forest up north.

nothing different here. Kids are grown so don't do much. still put Halloween stuff up. like to see the little kids out all dressed up and out. just another day in the week for me.

A few dress ups on my favorite holiday of the year have been...... A Maid, in a black and white uniform. A Baby, with the one piece jammies, with the butt snaps that open near the butt, and sucking on a little penis pacifier, kinda looking like BAMBAM with my hair way up on top of my head with a pink bow in it, A Cowgirl, with hat and all, Yeeeee haaa!!!, A Wicked Witch, with green makeup all over my face, and my hair frayed all out, with big old green ears and nose attached, suppose they are not that great, but funny as hell to be everyone of those characters.

I buy lots of really great candy, pour it in a huge bowl next to the door, then turn out all the lights and eat all the candy myself while sitting in the dark....

I absolutely LOVE Halloween!!!  And hell yeah I dress up! Got one of those latex witch masks that you paint and glue on your face one year.... scared the hell out of the neighborhood kids  I wear my Medieval dress a lot on Halloween. I won a costume contest at our local festival here one year  I might go with the jester costume this year. The kids love it!

see, i wish i had kids to do stuff like that with. the holidays so much more enhanced with kids ~ therefore, i just borrow my brother's. also, a great excuse to watch disney cartoons!

My 4-year-old son is going to be a man eathing shark, a shark with feet sticking out of the mouth, and I am the fisherman walking beside him. We decorate the house, turn on the fogger, play scary noises and have fun!

Didn't get to do it last year, but I would like to do it this year... I dress up as a scarecrow, complete with leaves sticking out in all the right places, put a burlap sack over my head, with a painted face on it and prop myself up by the door with the bowl of candy between my legs. I play dead until some unexpecting youth goes for the candy bowl, then I usually move an arm and grab there hand saying, "Hey, get out of there!" It scares not only the children, but the parents as well. Sometimes I let them take the candy and when they are leaving, I get up and follow them quietly. You can imagine the surprise look on their face when they realize the scarecrow is moving. I had year where one of the parents ran off screaming and left the child standing there... The child and I both had a good laugh!...

Many moons ago.. I dressed up in an old white sheet , with X's and Y's on it ... I was SPERM... NO TAKERS DAMN IT...!!!!!

i love a good scare too! it's all in the spirit of halloween. it's the one time of year that we can all be whomever or whatever we want to be and get away with it.
i used to love the haunted houses when i was a kid. remember those?

Oh, I think Halloween, along with St. Patty's day and now Cinco de Mayo, are great adult partying times.
For Halloween, we would turn our garage into a small haunted house. Not too scary because of the Lil ones, but also with fog/lights/sounds/ and hiding in the shadows. One year we raked up all the leaves and made miniature graves. Under one big pile was my ex. He loved to scare the teenagers.
Another time he came out a side door on the garage and would stand behind them. When they turned around (after getting their candy) he would scare them.
One kid almost fell off the porch so he stopped that.
